Is this lead holder all metal?

Other than the lead, yes. Seeing that some others claim they are seeing plastic lead holder tubes, there may be different versions out there. Mine is brass. I will try and upload a photo to my original review since I can't do it here.

Are the screw threads that hold the pencil together plastic or metal? I have a habit of snapping most pencils at the connection point.

Does it have an eraser?

I don't have the staedtler 0.7...I have the 0.3 and love it. Mine comes with an eraser so I would imagine they all do.
