Does the Heart start help to get the heart working in emergency

Any AED will shock a person (defibrillate) if it finds a heart in ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation. It will not work for other arrythimias but VF and VT account for 65-70% of all rhythms in a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
