Choices
I had a long think about what I needed out of my next pair of binoculars. Last pair (lost) was 12x25, and I had a choice of same, or better magnification and wider angle of view. I use them for birdwatching in my garden, or out walking to spot wildlife and stiles. In the end I went for a lightweight waterproof fairly cheap pair. The Bushnell H2o 10x25 are well made, solid, rugged, rubberised, comfortable to hold and a reasonable magnification. I probably won't be using them in the rain, but if they are in my knapsack in the English weather and it pours, I will be smug that they won't fog up or be damaged because of it.If you go for any higher specification, then consider this; you will probably either double the price or double the weight! The range is adequate and I don't miss the extra 2x mag. I recommend that you twist both the eye cups to the left to extend the rubber eye cups as they are more comfortable.I ordered them from Bargains 2000 on 22 April, they were despatched on the 25th and I got them today 28th. I call that fast, particularly since I chose free postage. The only negative was that the metal rim around the left eye optic had been poorly tooled and was scuffed, but I did not feel this was the fault of the retailer, and it does not actually affect the function of the binoculars (and I am quite fussy!) so I will keep them. Recommended.Update :-Have used these now for a couple of months.I now have more to say. I still like the idea that they are weatherproof, but I now miss both the extra reach of my old 12x, and especially find these are heavier. Although less important, the neck strap is very cheap and one of the screws holding it came out and was almost lost. I was led to believe that the closest focusing distance was expected to be about fifteen feet, but it is far more than. Almost double. A mixed bag.

Very good for compact binoculars
Not used them extensively yet and not checked out their waterproof credentials, but I'm very pleased with the performance and feel of these. They aren't perfect but for compact binoculars they do everything I could expect of them, especially at the price as I managed to grab at a bargain £30 as ex display, shop around as I did find a similar price on ebay new but didn't want to wait for overseas shipping.Only real con is as I think others have mentioned the case isn't great, a bit tight and material has a cheap feel.

not bad
Got these for my son for his birthday, fairly decent magnification at distance but not the best for short range - the minimum focus seems to be around 15m - 20m, so he has difficulty seeing the birds in the garden. Saying that theyre travelling everywhere with him at the moment and have survived some serious knocks so 10/10 for build!

Brilliant Binoculars
Crystal clear view, small and compact, fits easily into jacket pocket, ideal for shooting or nature watching. Very well made, sturdy and tough with rubberised casing, also waterproof and fog proof. Easy to focus, would definitely recommend these to anyone wanting a compact pair of binoculars

Excellent Price and Quality
These binoculars are outstanding for the quality of the build and resxolution. At this price it's excellent value. My only minor niggle is that they're a very tight fit in the case. But I'm surprised they provide a case at all!

Bushnell h20 10X25
Only thing I feel that is not Bushnell's quality is the pouch /case which is supplied with the binoclulars it is far to neat and I find it very difficult to get them out or in of it. the binoclulars are a good quality for the price I paid.

Great value & good performance
If you are new to buying binoculars and want something that is reasonably priced, good performance, light and portable then these would definitely be a good starting place. Very simple to use and with 10 x magnification these will comfortably do most jobs you need them for!
