I have to say, the 5 stars are primarily for the customer service that Zima dental provided. Unfortunately the dental pod we bought lasted for only about one month before it stopped working without explanation. We tried the troubleshooting, but it still didn’t work. I reached out to the company and figured I was in for a 6 month process and wasn’t sure there would ever be a resolution. Shockingly, within hours I had a personalized response from the company. When I explained that our dental pod had stopped working suddenly, I was assured that a replacement would be on the way. Again…I’m cynical so expected that to mean I might get a replacement in a month or more. Three days later, a brand new dental pod arrives at my door along with a pack of cleaning tabs. I was shocked at how seamless it was to deal with this company and we haven’t had any other issues with our dental pod since then.I do love the compact design of this cleaner and I don’t mind having it out on my counter as it does have a modern and sleek design.

So far this product is work beautifully. I purchased it to replace a different brand appliance that I had to return twice because it kept breaking after a short period of time. This one was considerably more, but I was hoping it would work a lot better. I’ve been using it daily to clean my retainer (which is in excellent condition already, so it was hard to really see much, but there was definitely some residue in the water after cleaning it. But where I noticed the biggest difference, was when I put my rings to clean them. With the other device I had they were cleaner, but when I took them out of this one, they were sparkling! The size of this is perfect, it’s lightweight, not super quiet, but not overly loud. The plug easily stays in the wall, unlike others that I have had. Overall, if everything stays as it is now, I’m very happy with this purchase, despite the cost being a bit high.

I was hesitant upon purchasing this based off the price and seeing additional cheaper options that serve the same purpose. Though I opted for this one since there is a company whom specializes this product and backs it, which gave me more confidence in purchasing. I was able to find more information about the product, and could see myself getting more longevity from the dental pod. I did not want a big or cheap looking product and upon arrival I was very pleased with this. It looks great and I do not think the matte finish will scratch. The operation is simple and cleanup is just as simple. Upon effectiveness, I am not totally sure yet since I have only had my product for less than a week and my retainers, though clean, have heavy stains. However, I do think this has made a difference and very much think that it is worth the investment. The included tabs are very effective, but seem more soapy than the tabs I previously used, in addition to leaving a very slight aftertaste even after a good rinse. I will likely be using that tabs previously used with this product and see if that makes a difference. Also the cost of the included tabs are relatively expensive for an everyday use. I am not rating four stars for that reason though, I simply have not had the product long enough to comfortably say my stains will completely vanish. Overall, I think this is a very worthwhile purchase and recommend to anyone considering this type of purchase to go with the dental pod.
