Q: I’ve had my charging cables (2) for 8 days an one of them will only charge my iPhone 6s Plus from one side now. Anyone else had this problem?

Yes. I have had a variety of Anker Powerline Cables and almost all of them have failed like you describe. Sometimes the cable totally fails (won't change on either side) and sometimes it will only change on one side. I would say over the past 4 or 5 years, I have returned at least 10 cables to them (family of 4 all with iPhones and iPads). This doesn't include some of the original cables I purchased from them that had an 18 month warranty. Some of those became defective after the warranty expired. I now only purchase their cables that have the lifetime warranty. I just sent one cable back to them that was only 1 month old. The only reason I continue to buy cables from them is their customer service. I have never had an issue getting replacements from them.....I've even received replacements of replacements of replacements. I have do have a concern with their newest Powerline+ II cables. The Serial Number (which you apparently must supply to them in order to return it) is not etched into the connector of the cable. It's on a piece of sticky label wrapped around the the cable. I'm sure this will eventually fall off, so I took a picture of it if I ever need to return the cable.

Q: Hello. i bought the 10ft powerline+ll and really liked it's thickness. but the same cord in 3ft and 6ft; the thickness are smaller. why is this?

I’m not an engineer, but the shorter the cord, the thinner the cord. Long cords can require different gage as there is a drop in efficiency with longer cords...thus thicker cords. At least that’s what was explained to me by an Electrical Engineer... Hope this helps.
