Blum 973A0500.01x1 973A Blumotion Straight Arm Full Overlay Hinge for Doors, Nickel Finish

This is exactly what I needed. All the cabinet doors in our house have the Blum hidden hinges but only those in the kitchen have the soft-close feature. This adds the soft-close feature to those hinges/doors without it. It is a simple snap-on closer that snaps onto the back of the Blum hinge and is identical to those the builder used for the kitchen cabinet doors over a decade ago. I have installed these and will now order the larger quantity of 20.

I found about about this through a friend while at his house. I was immediately impressed and ordered some. Took me 5 minutes to put on all 24 adapters. Basically push down and towards you and it just snaps on. Make sure your hinges have the square hole and not the round hole or it will not work. Most modern cabinet hinges should have the square hole.I ordered a pair for each cabinet door but found out that one adapter is sufficient for one door. The only door I used two adapters on are the ones with glass but even then I think it is overkill but I had left overs. Great price and great build quality. Wish they would make a similar adapter for drawers as well.

Had to mess with the prongs a little bit and bend them to make it stay on the hinge. But after that it works good. The shipping charge was outrageous. $7.00 or so for one hinge. I tried to go back and order 30 more since I liked it but they wanted to charge me $210!!! just for shipping. Forget that.

Only used one per cabinet door and they do the job perfectly!

I ordered enough of these to do my entire house cupboards and love the soft close. The instructions make it look simple to install into our existing blum hinges, however, my husband had to use quite a bit of force to get them to fit. After putting in several of these hinge adaptors he found a method that worked for him so he had me order some more. We may have ordered the wrong style, however, these work great once they are put on the doors. Now i want to do my drawers--a little more expensive and more modifications required but we will probably do them in the future too. The soft close feature is worth the money and work!

These things are fantastic. They snap on easily, are also really easy to remove, and do just what they are supposed to. Build quality is great.You can get away with one for small cabinet doors, but you definitely need two (one per hinge) for larger doors. I'm putting two on nearly all my doors as that gives a totally silent soft close.Note that some sellers will try to charge you shipping per hinge, whereas some sellers (e.g. MC&S abbreviated) will not.
