This cord has a quality feel to it and works as it should. My only complaint that caused me to deduct a star is the fact the light doesn't change on the dock with the mute status.On the factory cable when you mute yourself, the lights on the dock turn red. You have a visual identifier on rather or not you are muted.This cable does not support that functionality. The dock lights stay white regardless of mute status.All in all, it works great.

The switch doesn't activate the red mute light on the mixamp like the official Astro cable does, but it works great nonetheless.

Mic mute works perfectly

I have the Astro 40tx. I accidentally vacuumed my old cord that had volume control so I had to get a replacement. The quality of the replacement is good. Everything is good but it is really annoying how I can’t adjust the volume. It is what it is. But it’s a good replacement overall.
