If Sugar wasn't the 3rd item on the list of ingredients, I would consider using this however birds don't need sugar, why are you using it?

I use vitacraft as a source of protein. It is true that birds do not need sugar in the ingredient, however it is good to use during the breeding/ moulting season.You can also make it at home by searching on youtube.As for me?….. just lazy to do it myself

Vitakraft Peak Health egg food only needs to be refrigerated if it is moistened. As long as you are mixing the dry crumble in with the regular food, then it will not need refrigeration.

If I’m remembering correctly you can use it wet. I raise doves and they eat it dry. And, they absolutely love it. Every night I have to refill their 3 bowls.
