Classic Quality
O.K. a little noisy compared to the latest video friendly models, but it has classic looks and produces classic captures. It is very sharp wide open and the focus is snappy, considering the moveable mass of glass (Paired to an xt2).Personally, my fascination in photography is an attempt to capture a magical moment in time. This lens gives a lot of help in achieving this goal.

Fuji Feeling with Incredible Bokeh
I was in two minds for a while between this lens and the 35mm f/2. I went through lots of pictures on Flickr between the two lenses and without pixel peeping I realised that the colour rendition and the feel of this lens is unmatched, regardless of it's 'technical shortcoming' when compared to the f/2 version.The bokeh you get from this lens - which is the primary reason I wanted it - is beautiful. It's sharp at f/1.4 and only gets sharper moving up. Regardless of all the reviews about the slow AF etc, the only thing that really matters is if it gets the picture you're after.This is a superb lens and I definitely recommend it, you wouldn't regret the purchase.

Just the right weight and size - nice and compact.The images are amazingly sharp, however, using such a fast aperture means you need to be more careful with focusing, and when you do the bokeh is creamy smooth and portraits have an almost 3D effect.

Love this lens
Superb lens. Great bokeh. Quick focus, giving great portrait results and street photography. Loving the results.

A good lens for a bit of everything really, so far I've used it for more travel/ street photography and I used it for some product photography, can't fault it :)
