I use the hose on a reel and have no issues with functionality or stiffness. I have used the hose at least a dozen times and seems to work with no issues. No leaks nor defects noted. It rolls smoothly onto the reel.

I haven't use it as yet, I was hoping it be more flexible and not stiff so it can let out easily as you walking out and around with it. I can tell it's not going to be very easy.It feels like a good strong hose so I'm hoping it last a long time and not get dry rot on me, I won't be using it on a regular.
