I don't know why others are saying the magnets are too weak, they must be juggling with their portafilter.The magnets are just fine.Best thing is you can stir the coffee with the needles and it doesn't spill all over the place.Stir, tap, remove and press, job done

I love this little accessory. I like the fact that it has just enough of a magnetised grip on the basket when connected. It looks quite slim but it isn’t, in reality it is the right height to contain the ground coffee no problems and eliminates any spillage. It has a nice weighty feel and in my opinion is a well made item. I’m very happy and would recommend it.EDIT: just to qualify on the magnetised rim. I have a sage dual boiler and it fits the 58mm basket perfectly. When the basket is filled with ground coffee and the funnel is attached the magnets have such a grip I can pick up the filled basket by just holding the funnel.

Does the job of keeping things tidy when distributing your grounds. The little magnets are a little weak however, so while it is perfectly fine sitting on top of your basket, they won't hold if you invert it. Basically they just stop it falling off or moving around too much.

Does the job perfectly, though the fit and magnetic hold is basket dependant. Solid, heavy and well made. No more mess 👍

I think it is important to note that this does not seem to be a universal fit. Using this with the NEOUZA portafilter, I have no issues but with any of my other 51mm portafilters and it just slips off.SO, I could only recommend this if you want use it with a NEOZA portafilter.Finally, it is magnetised but they are very weak.

It's a solid chunk of metal & is pleasing to handle and use.I was unsure about the utility of the built-in magnets, since my (Gaggia Classic 2013) portafilter is stainless steel & not particularly susceptible (sic) to magnetic fields - but as I don't tend to turn the thing upside down whilst adding coffee grounds, that doesn't matter too much.The bottom line is that I'm happy with this basket.

The media could not be loaded. It does not fit correctly and it is not magnetic as described. Using it makes a mess when dosing the coffee. I tried it with the original De'Longhi 51mm portafilter and an aftermarket one. Same result. Completely useless. Now I have to pay the return costs. Waste of money and time. I would not recommend.

The best dosing funnel I've used. It is held on by strong magnets and allows me to use my 58mm tamper when it is still on the portafilter as there are no overlapping edges like some of the other dosing funnels. Highly recommended.
