Q: How long do you have to hold it against the wall until it holds?

Not Long at all . For example if you are installing a 6 foot long 3 inch crown and apply a 1/8 bead as shown in the orac decor install video You can put in place and move on to the next piece . The only time you may want to hold it in place is a small end cut 6-8 inches long hold it in place for 60 seconds or so . Once you use Orac moldings you will get the "hang of it " it goes up fast . Do not forget to order the joint adhesive for the seams really locks every thing together . You will not see the joints . Orac Decor has been on the market for over 40+ years ,it is Europe s #1 trim . Thank you

Q: Besides glue what else should I use to hold this up? Finishing nails?

Great Question! The FDP500 adhesive is used to attach to the wall and/or ceiling depending on the moulding and the the FX-200 is used for joints and miters. Adhesives are usually enough for installation. With large profiles finishing nails can be used in addition to the adhesive to hold the moulding in place. When using nails or screws the installer must be careful to not damage the product. If the installer chooses to nail the product they will need to use a filler/putty to cover the small nail holes, sand the area, clean and allow to dry before painting the moulding.

Q: What kind of led lighting do I buy with this?
