How much height do these add to chairs?

The floor protectors only added 1-1 1/2 inches to the height of the chair.

Do these work for very hard wood chairs? I had trouble with the nail in ones, as the nails kept bending.

My bar chairs are hard wood. I had to tap these sliders pretty hard to get them to penetrate the bottom of the leg without bending the prongs. I was successful and they have stayed on very well for a couple of months sliding across our uneven tile floor.

What is the difference between this product and gorillafelt cb240 chair leg floor protectors/felt glides ?

The GorillaFelt CB257 felt glides are 1 inch in diameter while the GorillaFelt CB240 are 3/4" in diameter

My chairs have small round plastic glides on the legs- do these feet pads replace them or go over them ( currently use stick on pads on the plastic

These pads would replace the plastic glides on the legs. The plastic glides should be removed when installing GorillaFelt pads.
