The pot took some finagling to get together. I am glad I didn’t keep it on my lanai like I wanted to originally as i misunderstood patina vs what this does. It’s been over a year and the layers flake off. I’m not sure how some of these people are getting this beautiful copper look all the time but I’m happy with it in the yard.My plumerias love it and have flourished. It protected them during hurricanes Helene & Milton.*DO NOT PUT ON A SURFACE YOU DO NOT WANT STAINED* the layers keep coming off & we are in July 2025Would recommend

The media could not be loaded. I'm absolutely in love with this Corten Steel Planter! It arrived promptly and included all the necessary tools for assembly, which helped a lot. It's heavy, durable, and also includes two drainage holes at the bottom. There are also two plugs in case you don't need the drainage holes. They even included instructions on how to accelerate the rusting process. I'm so excited to use it in my garden this spring! Will definitely be checking out their other products.

The planter is great and of high quality! I did have to get another set of screws and nuts because I could not get the nuts tightened that were provided. However, that could just be me and not the parts.

First off, this really looks great in our yard. We currently just have a pot set inside it but will eventually fill with dirt & plant directly in the planter. We had looked at solid construction welded planters and they are substantially more expensive. This seemed like a good alternative. Overall, it is. There are just a few things to be aware of. The assembly, while not difficult, did require a but of wiggling & finesse to get some of the holes lined up. Nothing impossible and nothing that required a drill or a hammer; it just took a bit of patience & persistence. That said, we were able to properly & completely assemble the planter problem. The other thing to keep in mind is that the bolts used to assemble the planter appear to be stainless steel. so while the container will rust - as it should - the bolts will remain shiny stainless steel. Two of the sides of the planter only have bolts at the bottom, so you can arrange the planter so one of those sides are the most visible, which is what we have done. We may investigate some kind of paint/finish for the bolts to make them less obvious. Even with these two considerations, I recommend this planter. It's rusting beautifully and really looks good in our yard. It's a more affordable way to get a high end looking planter.

Purchased the large 26"x26"x26" corten steel planter for the area in between my 2 garage doors (see photo). I was impressed with the thickness/gauge of the steel construction. Assembly was a breeze, all hardware was included. And as a bonus, this item is made in the USA. Since the photo was taken, the planter has already started to develop the characteristic aged rusted ppatina. Looking forward to seeing how the patina continues to develop over time.

I bought a smaller one from another vendor and didn’t like the assembly thinking an hour is way too long for a simple cube. When I were for a bigger one I wanted to try this as it seems easy judging by how the screws work in the product picture. Boy, I am so so wrong. The package includes a screw driver and that didn’t work. No hint on how to do it. Luckily one review mention a wrench is required — still, as a small person I have to get help to put them together, after three hours, I am still working on it (have to do it when I am off work). No joke! Why no one mentioned it, And there are no legs to raise it up from the floor. It’s just a detail but given the price I expected something better. I won’t buy it again.

This is my first planter box from DIY Cartel and I'm absolutely in love. Arrived just in time to plant some fall flowers. It was easy to assemble and I love that over time it becomes 'weathered' and will get that rustic patina look, it's the gift that keeps on giving! It added such a stylish touch to what was once a boring front patio. I've been sitting out front with my coffee just so I can enjoy it. Highly recommend this product either for yourself or would also be a cool gift. Lastly, I spoke to a few staff via their social media acct to ask questions and they were kind and communicative, great customer service and a personal touch.

We ordered two of these planter boxes for our front porch, and they arrived quickly. We love that they will turn into a beautiful rust color that matches all the cedar accents we have in our porch. The box came with detailed instructions, and it took less than 10 mins to assemble. They are sturdy and we are glad they come with drainage holes, just fill with dirt, plant and enjoy.
