Extremely satisfied with this scanner. Launch brand came recommended to me by a friend that is a mechanic and it does not disappoint. You can view PIDs like most scanners but the graphing function has been a huge benefit. It is bi-directional so you can actuate functions on the vehicle - I have found this to be extremely useful in troubleshooting. One aspect I recently found was the ability to generate vehicle health reports and create a QR code/link to send to someone. The price is well in-line with what is offered. I would not hesitate to buy. Setup was easy and the user interface is easy to navigate. It comes with a create carrying case and everything feels high quality. I am an amateur and work on vehicles as a hobby, but can see this being effective in professional settings as well.

These Launch products are absolutely amazing and I've tried everything even dealer software solutions.... This is EVERYTHING an Autel is for half the price and the quality is TOP NOTCH!!!... Also if you make sure to purchase the Launch GIII XPROG for doing keys and coding, absolutely the best investment I've made and it does magic for the for difficult and newest jobs.... Don't think twice about it, support is the same as any other high end scanner so ignore any negative reviews from people because they don't know what they are doing or how to figure it out.... I’ve had my Launch X431 Pros Elite for about a month now, and it's one of the best tools I’ve ever bought. I’ve used snap-on and xtool tools,and this absolutely keeps up, especially for the priceI use it a lot for throttle matching and different chassis calibrations. I was even able to program a new key for an old Honda, which exceeded my expectations! The special features like personalizing settings on Lexus are just awesome.It reads codes from every module. I’ve already made my money back on this tool. I'm so impressed,and I would recommend this to others.

Bought last week to inspect and test used car I like to buy.Torn between this LAUNCH X431 PROS Elite and XTools D8 or D9, finally decided to go with Launch. 2 reasons:1) User interface, Launch is better organized than XTools2) Hardware spec, Launch is slightly better than XTools or D8/D9.Only downside is XTools have 3 years free software upgrade, Launch X431 is 2 years.However, I deal with older cars more so do not care too much about upgrade, other than bug fix.Anyway after 2-3 years, it is better to just buy a new one with better hardware, because the subscrpition cost is pretty high for both companies .This scanner helped me to find a Honda CRV and a Ford Escape engine related code and unbalanced 4 cylinder power, and old misfire record. So avoided 2 bad deals of lemon cars.This alone is worth the cost of this pro level tool.

A great scanner for the price, it shows accurate data and is super helpful for simple lights. It did have a lengthy update process, but as long as you have decent WiFi, it’s not bad. This thing will live a long life in my shop.

Unable to register on line, spoke with a tech and he was useless, I think I will send it back
