Durible, reliable options for a reasonable price!
I bought these mounts to go with the new satellite speakers for my Logitech Z906 system. Short and to the point: they work perfectly! I really like that they came with all the necessary mounting hardware (and then some). This means no headaches or troubles after the fact. Each mount is individually bagged with its own kit of mounting gear, making hardware detection a breeze, as there is no sorting through a consolidated mess of hardware. Perhaps the thing I liked the most, however, was the option to have a short mount or extended mount. These mounts include an extended section that you can either leave intact, or easily remove for a more flush, true mount. With the rotation of the sections and angle axle, you can literally mount your speakers in any direction you need with ease.I was originally planning on using the 3M mounting tape (bought separately) to fasten these, as I live in an apartment (to avoid damage). However, if you are planning on doing a similar type mount, just know that, simply put, that is NOT an option. There is no real backing on the mounts to secure the tape to, and thus there is not enough surface area to create a proper hold. The only way to mount these is with the included screws, which is the best way, anyway, and I'm actually glad about that fact, in hindsight. The speakers that I have attached to these are pretty heavy for their size, and these mounts hold them with mo problems. They are very tough and durable! As for some of the previous reviews, I read that someone had a problem with the screw not reaching through the mount and into the back of the speaker. It's my guess that they either had the mount backwards (the mounting screw goes inside the mount, and does not stick out the back, FYI), or they were using the wrong type of mounting screw. They include several types of mounting screws with each mount, so they really do take care of your needs. They even include a second wall-type mount to use for two- or four-screw hole mount speakers.I'm trying to think of a negative for these mounts, but I honestly can't think of any. In short, if you are looking for a good, strong, steady speaker mount for a fair price, these are your answer!I would recommend these mounts to anyone looking to mount a Logitech Z5500/Z906 speaker system, or any speaker system, really. They honestly are great mounts!

These worked excellent for me
I was a little hesitant to get these because there were some pretty negative comments left by others. But, I took the plunge (for ~15 bucks, I could afford to roll the dice) and I am glad that I did.Yes - there are a lot of "extra" screws that are packed with these mounts but that is because they are billed as "universal" mounts. So, depending on how you are going to use them, and your speaker types, you may or may not use many of those extras.I bought these when I recently purchased a new HTIBYamaha YHT-395BL Complete 5.1-Channel Home Theater System and these mounts easily paired with the Yamaha speakers. I only had to use two screws (that were included) to attach the mount to the speaker. And, while they do provide screws and matching plastic drywall anchors, I did an installation in a suspended ceiling so I used a bit of a different mounting setup with my own hardware. The mounts themselves can be angled/rotated/pitched in every direction which is great, they tightened up well and have remained in place since the day of installation (about two weeks or so as of this writing).Easy to mount, easy to install, seem sturdy enough, and very reasonable cost - I'm very glad I got them.

Works well, great value
I bought these mounts in order to hang my new Yamaha speakers from the ceiling. Each speaker weighs 1 lb, so I cannot validate the claim that each mount supports up to 10 lbs. Overall it was a good purchase.Pros:- Obviously the price - $15.69 as of this writing- All elbows, joints, and pivot points work well and are tightened/loosened by a hex screw (allen wrench included)- Firm, solid support, at least for my 1-lb speakers, both in studs and in drywall ceiling with included anchors- Included is a variety of hardware (nuts, screws, and several bolts) to be compatible with many different kinds of speakersCons:- The self-tapping screws strip easily when going into studs. The instructions recommend pre-drilling with a 1/8" bit. I would go up to 3/16. But I'm just guessing...I was dumb enough to adhere to the instructions for all three of the braces that I attached to studs, and each time at least one of the screws in each (out of two total per mount) started resisting really stubbornly when it was about 1/8" from fully in.- As other reviewers have said, the plastic washer spacer is indeed too small in diameter. Major, major foul on the manufacturer's part. I was able to find better ones from the hardware store for $0.30 a piece, but they were too long. I had to use a jigsaw blade to cut them in half (much harder than it sounds, because these things are so small). Anyway, I probably should have kept searching for a shorter washer, but I blame the mount manufacturer for all my troubles, minimal as they were, because I never should have had to go get my own washers in the first place...I expect products like this to come with the correct hardware.I almost gave this item three stars in light of Con #2. But when I ask myself "Would I buy this again?" the answer is yes. Overall, they work well, and nobody I know is going to beat this price. If you are buying your own speaker mounts, chances are you are handy enough to hold your own on projects like this. If you're not, however, and you're somehow or another intimidated by hardware and construction and hesitant to make your own modifications, these might not be for you, because of the hardware issues I mentioned above. Otherwise, they work great.
