Not good for security.
Hello alarm guy Myke here again, so it's a nifty device with a great concept. However, in the interest of security on these doors you want the door to disengage and reengage rather quickly, and by the actual delay timer programming. Setting the pointometer as you're supposed to, the lowest setting which is supposed to be 5 seconds keeps the door unlocked for between 30 and 45 seconds. If you were to turn the pointometer all the way up it's supposed to keep it open for only 30 seconds and also fails So the timer does not work as expected or desired. The distance that it's supposed to pick you up at when you wave at it is anywhere from 6 to 20 cm, as you adjust the pointometer, it may or may not pick you up even touching the sensor. The manual override, worked as expected. Best stick with a standard push to exit button and delay timer.

Doesn’t work
The push button works fine. The sensor work’s intermittently. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it would randomly unlock at night when everyone was asleep in bed. It’s unreliable and not trustworthy to use. I wired my house for this prior to drywall and now I’m pretty screwed they don’t work because the other things I could use there needs more wires than I have in the walls now. I have it hooked up now just to use the push button since the sensors don’t work right. Haven’t found the solution for replacing these yet
