We have a very tall car and I am very short. This is my car step. Perfect height and folds right up to go in the back. I have a friend with the same problem. She tried mine out and then I ordered one for her.

I'm average height (5'6") but have developed a painful degenerative arthritic hip on one side. We travel roughly 6-8x/yr, and it seems that hotels are going to very tall platforms (often of metal panels) upon which they put the mattress.I realize this helps Housekeeping from lower back pain (for which I have every sympathy, believe me). The problem is, lately when I stand beside the hotel bed, it is HIGHER THAN HIP HEIGHT for me.When one has a painful hip, trying to get up - or down - from such a high bed, is NOT easy or pain-free. I finally decided to find a not-too-high folding stepstool, and sure enough, Amazon had several. I chose this one, and am very satisfied with it.I can imagine it would also be useful for those who need an aid when stepping into a high-walled bathtub, etc. The design is long-tested and very stable on level surfaces. It's also easy to clean, being plastic. Recommended for anyone needing 'a little boost, but not too high'.

Bought this for the passenger side of my Ford Transit. I am only 5'3" and my feet don't reach the floor. Perfect height. So much more comfortable riding in that seat with this foot rest. Love that I can fold it to enter and exit the van.

I got the 5 Inch Folding Step Stool to help my elderly mother enter and exit our minivan. It works great and provides the perfect height for her to step in and out comfortably. The stool also stores conveniently under the seat, making it easy to access when needed. Highly recommended for improving accessibility for seniors.

I have had multiple step stool in a similar style (only taller) and all have been great. I needed this size for getting in my brother’s vehicle and using to prop my feet while sitting in a conference room type chair. It was great for just resting my feet, but to put all my weight on (about 115 lbs) it was not very sturdy. At one point it did come apart and buckle under, but for the most part it worked out ok.

So covenint. My wife is 4'10 and just had knee replacement. Great for accessing bed,steps or suv.So portable

I have just started going to a swimming pool for some physio and exercise. The only problem was the top step from the pool to poolside, which was quite deep and I have limited leg lift mobility. This step fits perfectly onto the step and allows me to get out of the pool comfortable. I have a piece of string attached which I can use to pull the step out. As it folds flat, it is easy to take it to and from. It has made a difficult enterprise very easy and helped increase my confidence enormously. Always feels sturdy under my feet and stable.
