Paragon Outdoor 11'x11' Alumnium Pergola in Chilean Ipe with Soft Top Retractable Canopy for Patio, Porch, Garden, Backyard Gazebo (Off-White Canopy)

I was nervous about the purchase but am very happy that I did! Easy to assemble, sturdy and looks great.

Construction took three hours for two guys with experience and tools. At one point we needed a third person to help support the thing while we balanced a couple large pieces and brought them together. It's very sturdy.The parts are labeled and fit together pretty well with only a bit of light hammering here and there.The wood grain looks good-- frankly, better than I expected.The canopy is easy to use. The fabric is thin and lets some light through but looks nice. It's synthetic; I expect it will hold up OK.There are a few details which are nice. The magnet to hold the canopy in place, ribbons of additional canopy material to close the edges, stickers that come off easily, a little vial of touch up paint, and the way the struts nest into one another for support all show some good thought in design and use.

We like the pergola but it was missing a piece. I contacted immediately. Amazon said that I would hear within 48 hours. It's been more than a week, I am hoping the seller responds. Beware!

This is nearly the exact product we were looking for over several months. It is surprisingly sturdy with a great wood looking finish but should hold up for years to come. The retractable canopy is what sold us on this and we love the material. We'll see how the connectors hold up that connect the canopy to the sliders, they are plastic and I'm guessing those will be the first to go. Closing the canopy for dinner and opening for the stars at night is perfect!

Transformned the area to be more comfortable against the sun. Paired it wit a nice outdoor furniture set and I can't stay away. Middle of the road on the sturdiness. It's not flimsy but definitely not the sturdiest. Put together ok with 3 people. Might of took around three hours. I would buy it again.

It took us two days to build. Totally worth the effort.

Time will tell, this item is down on a deck on the Chesapeake bay and it's going to take a beating, I really like the way it self closes if the wind picks up let's see how it handles the winter!

Product looks great, went together very easily (2-3 person job though). Nice alternative to a traditional wood pergola.
