More than enough for home stereo.
Thunder. For 50 bucks I am blown away by this tiny little amp that kicks out big Power.I hooked this up to a rejuvenated old Panasonic ported subwoofer from a mini home theater system from the '90s that was reloaded with a $30 Skar Audio 6.5 inch subwoofer. The adjustment knob for the bass frequency coupled with the volume knob and the subwoofer/full-range switch on this little Nobsound unit can pump out some big bass from a tiny sub. It's powerful enough that I cannot turn it all the way up and at 50% volume it sounds amazing. The signal is coming from the AUX port of my Fouk Audio mini tube amp. This combination along with some tiny Polk Audio bookshelf speakers sounds incredible in a 12x12 bedroom. Absolute High-Fidelity clarity, rich sound, clear vocals, and thundering bass. This is a great mini system that will sound (and feel) awesome for a medium-sized room.

Works well for my use
Nobsound G2 Subwoofer Power Amplifier Mini Mono SUB Amp 100W:[I am only using the sub-woofer setting, with one input signal line hooked up to the + terminal. Either terminal works ok. My preamp only has one mono line out for the sub-woofer. My sub-woofer speaker is 6 ohms].. Worked ok out of the box. The Nobsound sub-woofer amp cutoff freq and volume adj knobs worked ok. Initially I forgot to turn up the volume on my preamp, but once I did that everything worked with good volume.. The gain setting switches on the bottom also worked as expected. I set mine to max(36db for now). The 20db setting was a little too low for my setup.. There is slight hum(perhaps 60hz) without any input, but it is not heard once music, etc is playing. Others have mentioned the hum so I do not think it is my preamp. It possibly could be from the power supply?. Good unit so far

Perfect solution to revive my vintage M&K subwoofer
I have an older M&K "Volkswoofer" sub. It sounds absolutely fantastic but the internal amp is starting to fail. I considered having it repaired / recapped but then I was like "Let's try one of those cheap Class D amps and see how that works out!"This little amp is absolutely perfect. Super tight bass. Gone is the buzzing, popping and gurgling sound that was coming from the built in amp. The built in amp also ran so hot that you could barely touch the back of the sub without burning your fingers. This little amp is quiet, stays cool and sounds wonderful. And it costs far less than having that old built in amp repaired. My sub now works and sounds like new.The two voice coils in parallel measure 2 ohm which is really low but this little gem can actually handle that low an impedance!Absolutely fantastic. Unbelievable at this price too.If you are just like me reviving an older sub, this thing is what you need to buy!

Love it
Bought a soundbar that came with a passive subwoofer for my desk setup but didn’t have enough stuff to really be effective. Bought this amp, spliced it inline and now have complete low end control at my fingertips. Allows me to fill out the sound quite nicely and it looks good on my desk…

Incredible sub amp: great way to turn a passive sub into an active sub!
I'm using this with an S.M.S.L. A300 amp to hook up a passive subwoofer to it's line-level sub output. It is working perfectly for my needs. PLENTY of power output (I've got the volume set to about 1/3). This devices cutoff of 300Hz is plenty compatible with the 100Hz of the A300.I did notice that in theory the sub freq knob should be able to go down to about 1/3 without impact, but I notice the difference in sound far before that, so I assume it's a non-linear scale. Not a big deal, but might be nice if the knob was labeled in some way so you knew what frequency you are dialing in.That being said for the price I cannot complain.Note that if you are using this for a sub amp be sure to select SUB rather than PBTL with the second switch. If you select full range (PBTL) it has a drastic impact on the output. Which is a BIT odd since I'm already sending only 0-100Hz to the unit from the SMSL. NBD since the SUB setting is most correct for my use anyway, but something to be aware of if you hook it up and think it sounds... off. Quiet.Dont take my minor criticisms for anything but that: nitpicks. I love the amp and am completely happy, especially for the low price.

Gain switches and great output with a low pass filter, lots of power for $50
There are lots of mini amps out there, this one is pretty solid. The output is very impressive, it really puts out what its power supply can. The gain switches are hugely helpful to fine tune what the gain attenuation knob results in based on the input signal level source you're using. The unit feels good, solid knobs and switches, nothing is loose. All terminals feel good. It's heafty too, it does not feel like a flimsy little light weight thing. If you need more power, you need more power supply. This comes with a 100w capable power supply. Solid right out of the box. Fantastic for $50.
