Worth the money!
Received it today, and had it installed in my 2011 GMC Sierra in about 5 minutes. Way more storage than I thought it would have. Very well built, except for the dividers, which are a little flimsy, but I'm not using them, so no big deal. Holds hard hat with no problem, and plenty of room for ratchet straps, tow straps, etc. Great fit and easy to install.

Great product; seller site is a little off...
Ordered this for a 2010 Silverado Extended cab. Fits perfectly and the color is good...The "find part" function on the seller's site is WRONG- this item is in-fact the correct item for 2010+ trucks. The box is a little overpriced IMHO, but works well and looks/fits better than the GM unit. This would be a SUPER product at the $80-$100 price point, but still superior compared to other similar items out there.Other helpful point- you will need to move the jack tools a little but, contrary to the instructions you can mount them in the OEM location with no problems. You will just need to flip the tools over and make sure they don't hit the seat bracket, but mounts easily with no interference.

Exactly what I hoped for
The folks at this company should get a medal. I love my 2009 Chevy Silverado and carry quite a bit of objects in it: I installed a toolbox in the bed of the truck but have struggled with the convenience of it all.I installed this under seat storage unit in about 5 minutes and frankly, I'm usually the guy who would take way too long to do such a thing. The ease of installation aside, this functions perfectly and is one of the best purchases I've made in the last couple years. If you ask me, its pretty expensive and that certainly gave me pause, but I'm glad I bought it. Since I've acquired it, two of my brothers have for their trucks: its just that good. Finally, I'm one of those guys who hates when things "clank around' in the truck; making noise and the like. So far, no matter how little or much I put in the box, I don't hear any rattling.I can transport my guns, tools...whatever with no problems.I highly recommend this for anyone who has a truck and wants convenient and helpful storage.

Pros and Cons of the Du-Ha Underseat Storage
I was in the market for an under seat storage box for the back seat of my Chevy Silverado (2008, Extended Cab) for a few months. I needed something to store heavy power tools, spare clothing, the truck gun, and various other accessories. After searching the web, most owners gave the Du-Ha storage the highest appraisal, convincing me to order one.Pros:1. Molded for my truck, sat right in place where it needed to be.2. Easy to install and take out (incase you need the seat up to lay something in), no drilling or hardware needed.3. Keeps everything neat and organized. I was able to lay tools on top/beside each other without anything banging around while driving.4. The foam gun rack works well for most rifles. Ideally it works best for longer guns, like a shotgun with a bird barrel. I had a hard time securing my little Henry .22 comfortably without either end rattling out or not having enough support. During the winter time I put my snow brush in there when it is dry (and just put it on the floor after using it).5. As long as the bin is not over-stuffed, the seats fold down right on top of it, completely covering it, so your expensive handyman tools or pea-shooters are not exposed to privy eyes.Cons:1. Overpriced. The materials and flexibility of the bin make it feel too cheap. I'm not saying it will bend or break, but I was expecting it to be a harder plastic, or have more supports to it.2. The tether attachment system. I understand that the bin is not bolted to the floor, but if the bin isn't weighed down by heavy tools or gear, it slides around while driving. The tether just does not buckle down like I was expecting, and can be difficult if the buckle is positioned differently than the directions state.3. The storage bins on each side are not big enough for the usual tool box container. So for my large socket set, I had to place that underneath the drivers seat as opposed to in one of the bins. So if you buy this first, I would consider measuring the area of the individual bins before you purchase a tool set. Other, smaller sets can simply stack on top of each other within the bins.So overall, I'm happy I purchased this product as opposed to building one out of wood because of the pros listed above, but I still think this product is severely overpriced. If it had a more secure fastening system and was in the $60-100 range as opposed to what I bought it for, I would give it 5/5 stars instead of 4/5.

Best Storage Option
Compared to the the OE and Husky brand options, the Du-Ha makes the most out of the area. The color is a very good match, fits the contour of the floor almost perfectly, and fits right up to the bottom of the seats. It utilizes ALL the space under the rear seats unlike the others. With that said, it was a little pricey (Autosheperd included Fedex Home at no additional cost), and with a little more design work the spare tire tools (stud) could have been used to secure the unit. Overall very happy with the product.

Perfect fit - should have come from the factory with this
This should have been standard equipment with my truck. I bought this for my 2009 GMC 2500HD extended cab, and it is awesome. I can fir in my tool bag, 3 other tool zipper bags and about 20lbs of additional tools. It completely eliminates tools from slipping around the back of the truck, both inside and outside of the storage bin. Since I don't drive around with shotguns in my truck, I threw out the holders. They were super flimsy and nonsensical. If I ever did have a shotgun, I wouldn't trust it to hold it anyways. I also looked at the factory GM version as well as the Husky version. This is the one to buy. The feel of the plastic and the size of it is perfect.

Surprised and happy
Definitely worth the money!! I was reluctant to spend the money as they are not cheap but am very happy I did. I just put it in and I went from under my seats being full and spilling out on the floor, to having everything contained and almost one side of it completely empty! I even have a small fire extinguisher across the middle raised part and the seat still sits all the way down. I didn't remove my jack tool bag as the instructions state to do because only the edge of the container sits barely over top and would it would not be an issue to get the tools if I needed to. So much cleaner look and organized now. I paid more for the dark grey but because you can only see it with the rear doors open going with the cheaper tan one wouldn't be a big problem.

Very good product. Fit where it is supposed to and installs quickly and easily. Fairly large cargo area to keep all your "stuff" under the back seat where you can find it.
