A lot of clearance for climbing
This is a great truck well made for the money. It has a lot of twist side to side makes rock climbing fun!!

Best fun for the money in a crawler
I have a RC4WD bully2 that I've spent about $900 on and the E10 is essentially as good overall. Some things the bully excels at while other times the Everest is the winner. Key to making this great was to replace the tires with soft compound ones, convert to 4WS which is really really cheap and easy, 3s battery from my mini 8ight buggy, softest mini-T rear springs all around to significantly lower the center of gravity and 35t motor. Overall for under $250, because i had a spare radio, servo and 3s batteries already, this thing is terribly impressive. Just replaced the wheels and shocks with shiny aluminum ones because this is my GF 's and that's what she liked, and both of us love driving it several nights a week. Nothing has broken except a couple of wheel hex pins so far. I removed the steering stops on both axles and that's about all it can accept for steering modifications before the wheels turn so much that the dog bones want to pop out. I'm glad i didn't modify it further because it turns great with just that 60 second steering modification. Great crawler and best investment I've made in a long time. I wish my expensive RC4WD was as durable as this thing! Oh, and it pops wheels with 3s lipo and 35t RC4WD brushed motors! I would 100% but this again and i can't say that about many purchases in my life. Very happy with the product, the parts prices and availability from Redcat racing online store. If I were to buy another one I would immediately do the exact same modifications but forgo replacing the stock shocks with aftermarket because the stock ones are pretty decent, the only problem with them is the spring rate is about two and a half times higher than what it should be. I even really liked the radio it came with, just couldn't handle 4WS, which was a bummer.

Nice crawler at a good price!
The media could not be loaded. I like the Everest 10 overall, but it was a bit too slow for me. I swapped out the 54T motor with a 27T motor. Now it has enough speed for Trail Walking and is better for rock crawling when you need more wheel speed to spin the tires faster to get a little extra boost. WOT went from 2.6Mph to 5.3 Mph. Any more speed , and I would find it quite hard to control WOT since it is designed for crawlingI had to replace the gear box when the small plastic pinion gear completely stripped out. This was partially my fault since the battery fell out and locked up the front wheels. I did not see what happened and kept the throttle on until I heard that nasty grinding noise. I was using a Li-Po battery and found that it did not fit well into the battery tray, would not lay flat. I recommend that if you use Li-Po, check the fit and if it is not secure add heavy duty VELCRO strips to the trays front and the battery. No problems since. I replaced the Plastic gear box with a Full Metal gear box from RC SLL and it seems a bit more quiet, less gear clash noise. I am pleased with the 2 upgrades. I gave it 4 stars due to the battery tray problem. I am using 3500 MAH Li-Po's that will run it for 30 Min WOT, so mix that with some normal driving and rock crawling, I get about 1Hr run time. Pretty darn good I think.

AWEFUL company to buy from!
If I could give negative stars I would!1. Had the car 2 weeks and it broke. Sent a pic to the company asking about replacement of the affected parts under warranty. Also asked what the parts were called. (I know nothing about RCs and this is being used by someone with special needs.) The response was, "That is not covered." Then they provided a link to a steering arm mount. Took it in to the local RC Hobby Store and they found there were 3 broken parts: steering arm mounts, drive shaft, and front and rear gear box cover.2. After 1 week of use, the battery burned out. It had seemed to be holding a charge fine, then just starting with an awful smell and would not charge at all. Took it in to the local shop and was told the battery had burned out....after 1 week! (The average run time for the first week was about 12 minutes with the included battery.)3. Looked at Redcat for parts, but most part numbers have either changed or are incorrect in the user manual that came with the vehicle. Very difficult to find a part when you have incorrect part numbers.4. When we realized the battery was not charging, we noticed the red/green light on the charger was not working. At first we thought it was because the individual is color blind and was not seeing the color change from red to green. But upon testing it myself, turns out it was not working. The light never changed.5. The weighting system is completely off. The truck, which is supposed to be a rock climber, cannot handle any incline over approximately 25 degrees without tipping over. It can be fixed by adding weights, but there is another cost.6. The tires are "ok." Only ran the truck for 2 weeks and the tires are already worn and slipping. Very poor quality. All that said, we have almost $200 in repairs (after only 2 weeks) on a $194 truck (i.e. tires, weights, steering arm mounts, drive shafts, gear box covers, battery, charger). Cheap truck, not durable whatsoever, and the company does not support their product. We will NEVER purchase another Redcat and do NOT recommend them to anyone!
