Expensive but a fantastic bit of kit
I recently bought the Elgato Key Light, and I can’t believe how much it’s improved my streaming setup!Setting it up was a breeze. It has a sleek look that fits perfectly on my desk without taking up too much space. Plus, I can adjust the height and angle, which is super helpful. The lighting is fantastic! I love how I can tweak the brightness and colour temperature. Some days I want a warm, cozy vibe, and other days I need bright, clear light to look sharp on camera. The even lighting makes a huge difference—no more harsh shadows! The best part? The Elgato software lets me control everything from my computer. I can adjust the light without having to get up, which is a lifesaver during streams. I’m definitely thinking about getting more lights to create an even better setup! It’s a bit pricey, but honestly, it’s worth it. The upgrade in my video quality is noticeable, and I feel more professional when I’m live.

A little pain to set up, but flawless once running.
Now before I get started, this isn't a bad point on the product but rather a problem with the nature of the product. Because this is a wi-fi enabled light it needs to connect to your wi-fi to work and be controlled with no way of externally controlling it.This is fine for 99% of use cases at home which is why I still give the product 5 stars. But on a corporate network at the office you may need to speak to the IT team to allow the light onto the network and have it on the same network as your phone or laptop which may be difficult. The set up process did not work whatsoever on my laptop so I had to use my iPhone which surprisingly had a built in set-up process in the default settings app, this worked a dream and suddenly appeared on my laptop with the ability to control it using the app, windows tray and streamdeck. The light is so well made, looks amazing, provides a TON of light for video calls and tutorials.I've not found the need for 2 because 1 is enough, it helps provide background separation to key the background out hence the name "Key" light but it's not magic, you still need a good clear background for best results or be far enough away that your camera can bokeh it out and give you that clear seperation.I highly rate this light and will be using it for video calls, recordings and studio style drop down videos using my DSLR.

Fantastic lights and app control from desktop and phone is great.
I read some of the negative reviews of these lights and actually ordered a Key Light - Air from elsewhere to compare. These are 2x the size and brightness of the Air version and for me the desk clamps work really well. The poles are sturdy and extend to a good height. One thing I would say is that the 2 extension rings of the poles were VERY tight to turn the first time. I actually had to use mole grips to turn the top one on both poles (I bought 2). However, once I freed them they now work just fine.I have used the lights on my desk for Webex video calls and they have really improved my video appearance. I also do some video work with a green screen. For this I ws easily able to move both lights into my lounge and the fact they go to a good height meant I could get them into right position.Very flexible, fantastic light and you have complete control from your phone or straight from an icon on your desktop. Using mine just fine from both Mac and iPhone.Really delighted with these and the video I was able to capture with both webcam and SLR was great. Looks totally professional. Give off very little heat which is good in my small home office and long power leads for flexible placement.Only things I would improve:1) The ball point at he top he lamps themselves fit into could be better. Once it is done up it is great, but you have to do it up pretty tight.2) Would be nice to have some cable retainers on the poles. The Air version have done a better job of this.3) Power adapters are pretty large. Make sure you have adequate height above your sockets.Other than those points, for all the uses I bought these for, they are brilliant. Expensive, but applicable control is ace for me. Oh yes, nd the variable light is great to work by as well!

Amazing Key Light - Couldn't connect it to PC though
People noticed in an instant with the light improvement in my streams! I do like it, it's a nice soft light that doesn't strain your eyes. It's a lot bigger than I thought too! Good stable tripod and easy to attach to deskIt is incredibly difficult to connect to your software so I've had to connect it to my phone instead. Easy to connect through phone but literally not possible for me to connect it through PC. I've even restarted my router a few times to try solve this but no luck.

Fantastic wifi enabled key light
What I like most about the Elgato Key Light Air is that I can control it from my phone, computer or stream deck. In addition, I've paired this with a smart plug, which I recommend, so I can turn it on and off verbally. You can control the shade of wight, from warm to cool, and its brightness, which at the top end if very bright indeed. I use this more as a lamp than for streaming, so I have the panel pointed to the ceiling from behind my PC, so when it is on, it lights up the corner of the room very nicely, and when I have streamed with itas my main light source, I prefer to use it with bounced light off the walls and ceiling for added softness - it's max brightness means that the light loss from bouncing is not a problem.
