Peach Farmer: this is the go-to set of loppers
Love this product. I have a peach orchard with 100+ trees that require a LOT of pruning in the spring. These are light, sharp and very dependable. I have 5 sets of loppers for the orchard- some longer, some with larger cut capacity but when we head out to prune, THIS is the set I always choose to use.

Premium quality, but the handles require force management
I do a lot of clipping. Acres and acres of small trees and brush. Been using Corona products for a long time now (10'ish years). On the plus side, the metal components and the design are tops. Also great, when I hit rocks or the cutting edges become dull I can easily disassemble and grind them on a belt sander back to laser sharp. It sounds caveman, but it is fast and easy. The wood handles are light and look nice. But on the down side, I have broken a wood handle with my not-at-all hurculean strength several times. When I have two broken sets, I swap sides or handles around to recover a pair. Unfortunately, the wood handles are riveted onto the metal blades, which doesn't make it easy.

LIGHTWEIGHT!
The wood handle results in a light-weight but sturdy lopper, much better than any lopper that is metal. If you are cutting for even 15-20 minutes you will feel the difference between a heavy handle lopper and one made of wood. I already have the exact same model (have had it for years). This is a replacement even though the old one still works but I wanted a new, sharper head. I can't stress enough, try a wood-handle lopper as well as a heavier metal one by actually cutting limbs with both types for several minutes. You'll end up returning the metal lopper :). I totally recommend this wood lopper by Corona.

Wow, these are perfect!
Corona went way out on these lopper/shears ... it is SOLID!Problem with other brands ... not enough metal "tang" -- these on the other hand are fantastic! And for all those out there asking for these to cut through 2" branches - they are not meant forthat; use a chainsaw : )
