Olympic Style Beaded Jump Rope

I was wanting the same jump rope I used to use at the gym with my personal trainer and this was it. I prefer a rope with a little more weight to it and the plastic pieces offer that. I find it much easier to turn and turn quickly.

Great beginners rope. Easy to adjust length. Would be + 1 star if could reverse the cut, that's all preference.

It is a good length and does not twist. The beads do break with hitting on our driveway but I have had it a year.

It's great. A perfect gift for my 9-year old.

I am a Coach with a jump rope team and bought this rope for my personal use in practice. I wanted a 9ft rope. We mainly use our beaded ropes for speed training. However this rope has two key issues. The beads are cheap. After two months of twice weekly use the beads are starting to crack, break apart and dig into the rope. I compare this to my daughters rope which is lasting a lot longer.Also the way the rope is assembled means that during speed drills the rope is starting to twist as the rope is not rotating in the handle properly. I removed a couple of beads and then changed out the washer within the handle for something more conventional that doesn't get caught up and turns more easily.

These are JUST like the jump ropes we had when I was a kid. They are great quality and very durable! My kids love using these.
