This is the perfect size, it doesn't let your folders fall over. It keeps them upright and in place and still able to see each tab on the folder. I am so glad I purchased this. It is the perfect weight so it doesn't fall over if you put a heavier folder in it. Helps me keep my desk organized and in an order according to event.

I bought this to hold my laptops on the sides for various reasons. I see products that solely hold laptops on their side. I cannot imagine spending $ just to hold laptops on their side. I found this multi slots shelves. I was skeptical on the sturdiness at first. I am happy to write that it is sturdy enough for my purpose. It is working great. The only drawback is the wires from the laptops make it hard for me to pullout papers or supplies that are on the flat shelves beneath. Buy a shelve with drawer(s) underneath the slots to make it easier to see and arrange. I still give it a five star, because the lack of drawer was not the product fault.

For some time now, I've been looking for an office organizer that would both save space on my tiny desk and help me keep bills and other paperwork sorted.After reviewing a number of available options, I chose this particular model in Safco's Onyx Mesh line both for its orientation (the front is one of the short sides, which works better on my desk than would an organizer with the front openings along a long side) and for its array of horizontal shelves and upright file slots. It replaced a single letter tray, which it completely eclipses in terms of utility.My desk organizer sits beside the ancient desktop computer that my better half has been using to track his finances since long before we met; the desk they share with a rather large flat-panel monitor is perhaps one meter in length. Prior to the installation of the desk organizer, I struggled to find room on the desk for the cup that holds pens and the like, our stapler, the restaurant check spindle where we keep receipts waiting to entered, and our return address stamp. Likewise, it was a challenge keeping the stacks within my letter tray -- one for bills to pay and one for outgoing correspondence, not to mention miscellaneous paperwork and office accessories -- from getting jumbled.Safco's desk organizer has solved those problems. I use one of the file slots for bills to pay, one to hold the envelope containing the present month's entered receipts until the bank statement arrives and it's time to reconcile the account, one for household paperwork to be filed, and one for school paperwork to be filed. This leaves one extra slot for stray paperwork, correspondence to be mailed, or whatever else wanders across my desk in need of a temporary holding-place.The shelves, meanwhile, are evolving: right now, the top one holds our check register, some Post-It flags, and some postage stamps, the middle one remains empty except for two or three stray receipts waiting to be filed, and the bottom one holds a deck of Uno cards (in need of a permanent abode) and a bank statement I'm in the process of reconciling. Eventually, specialty papers for the printer (photo paper, iron-on transfer paper) will move into the bottom shelf and work-in-progress will move to the middle shelf. The shelves would be equally convenient for keeping files at hand, organizing textbooks, and so forth.Best of all, there's now a bunch of extra space on my desk. I can keep a drink nearby without having to temporarily shift my receipt spindle to the printer stand or the top of the computer. Everything's in reach, and everything's neat and tidy. Even the stapler has a home now, right next to the desk organizer (it used to live in the letter tray, where it doubled as a paperweight).Even better, the desk organizer looks great and is well-constructed. I'm sure that you could break it if you tried hard enough, but it should stand up just fine to everyday wear and tear. It's quite convenient that it's black, since all my other office stuff is also black. My desk now looks quite pulled-together.Honestly, though I haven't had it very long, I'm already unsure how I managed to keep things sorted without it. Great job, Safco!

I was so happy to see a large box arrive with this organizer inside, because that meant no assembly! My last desk organizer arrived in a flat box and I had to screw on the dividers, which aren't as sturdy. These dividers are sturdy and there was no dealing with tiny screws. My desk is instantly organized!

Well constructed, sturdy, handsome. It was hard to find this style with separators between each compartment that are close to the height of the sidways file folder, giving the folder full support. Not only do these work just as I wanted, but the unit is quite attractive, too. In addition, it came with four small stick-on pads that adhere to the base of the unit, keeping it from scratching my desk. I'm very pleased!

I got this to hold laptops and hard drives vertically on my desk. It works great. I put it on one side of my desk and have an easy-to-use spot for all my electronics.It's not too heavy for me to move, I've even picked it up full of drives, but it's heavy enough that other things won't move it. It's perfectly sized to put 1 desktop HD or 1 laptop in each section. The sections help with cable management, which is really nice. I'm thinking about putting some cut foam down on the inside of the bases to reduce vibration, but haven't needed to. The base is heavy enough to damp a lot of HD vibrations on its own.The edges held up just fine to my 4 lb 14 inch laptop and a light 15 inch laptop. I don't know that I'd try a big gaming laptop in it, but for regular laptops it holds up fine.I've been using this for a year and have had no problems. I'll probably buy another one to hold the rest of my small electronics, because it's so easy to have them organized with their cables in this.

Great product and holds a lot. Only thing I didn't like and did not work for my use was the two bottom trays are pass-through. There is no wire mesh on the backside to keep items from pushing all the way through.

This was exactly as advertised. High quality, ready to use.
