I love these containers!
I really like having these type of containers around. They are just like the ones you sometimes get for take out. I use them whenever someone comes to dinner at my place and wants to take some food home. I actually always make extra food because people ALWAYS want to take food home. That is fine, if someone likes my cooking enough that they want to eat it again the next day, I should consider it a compliment, right!? Maybe they are just cheap! ha ha!!They are also great for giving cookies or other desserts to people during holidays and other special occasions. They seem nicer than some paper plate with plastic wrap. They aren't really tall enough for cake, unless it is a slice from a layer cake laid on its side...not like a sheet cake.I use them for my kids in college for when they want me to make something for them to take back to school with them. They hold a nice sized entree of lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, homemade mac n cheese or whatever (they usually ask for comfort foods like that) and they can be reheated right in the dish. Plus since they are plate-like, they can eat right out of them without having to dirty another dish. They hold sauces very well, but I have not tried them for very thin liquids like soups. The lids sort of snap on, but not sealed like rubbermaid or glad containers. We usually wash and re-use ours many time, but sometimes they just get too scratched up or something and have to go. Plus they are inexpensive enough that when you give them away to people, they don't have to return anything.I also use these for other things such as putting jewelry in them in a suitcase. Things like chokers and bigger bracelets don't always fit in travel jewelry pouches, and this holds even bigger items very nicely. I have also used them to hold small pieces of a craft project to keep them contained. It is nice that the lids are clear, so if you want to store small items (like stamps, a pin collection, etc.) you can quickly see what is inside without having to open every container. I have even used these to put a small amount of paint into to paint woodwork, you can close it up without the paint drying up overnight if you want to finish the next day (if you wrap your brush in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer, you don't have to wash that either and it will be ready to go later!)Overall these are wonderful little containers. It is nice that regular people (like me) can have access to items like this that normally are only available to the food service industry. Yes, there are a lot of them, but you can always split the package with relatives or friends if you don't need that many.

These are great
These are great. Pretty durable. I have used them for everything. I don't think I would order this many though because there was too many for my household. I gave some of them away because of this.
