Peg Perego Case IH Magnum Tractor and Trailer 12 Volt Ride on, Red

This is a very well built toy . I got this tractor and trailer combo that was listed as used , however it was new and in perfect condition. It looks like whoever had it first broke the plastic around the shipping screw that held the trailer to the bottom of the tractor and thought that it was irreparable and returned it. The tractor was easy to assemble and very sturdy, I like the two speed lockout that prevents my three year old from going too fast . This thing runs for hours on a single charge and seems to be stronger than other battery powered ride on toys . So far its held up great to the abuse that both of my kids have inflicted on it . The only two things that I dislike about this toy are minor, first the hood is a little tricky to close its hinge slides back and forth and takes a little practice, second the trailer hitch is junk. The lock on the trailer hitch doesn’t rotate far enough to lock . I’m not sure if the tabs are too high or the pin is too short either way it could be improved. I think I’m going to remove the plastic hitch pin and drill out the hole a little bigger and use a real tractor pin. Overall this is a very well designed American made toy and I would recommend it to anyone.

my son runs his all the time, keeps up with his busy little butt, he loves cleaning the yard with the trailer hooked on very cute, we charge the battery every night and it lasts him all day, well worth the money, easy for a 2 year old to use and function

After purchasing cheaper brands that did not last long, this is the second Peg Pergo we have purchased and will always go back to this brand. Love the details and the ease of putting together. The battery lasts a long time between charges. This was for 3 and 4 year old toddlers who have spent countless hours on it. It is a great value for the money. My only complaint is the hitch connection for the trailer on both units we have purchased has some room for improvement. One of them pops off and come unhitched on bumps and the other is so hard to connect you feel and you’re going to break it trying to.

This is a sweet little ride for my youngster...I couldn't believe I got it for the price because it is $269 at wal-mart...and for another $24 bucks you can add a 2 year protection plan so for a few bucks over $200 you get the tractor and protection plan if you want it which the way I figure and the bad luck I've already had with ride on toys, isn't too bad of a deal...its brand new and nice...the next peg perform purchase I am going to make will be the speed charger unless Amazon or peg pergo would like to send me one to try so I can write another review like this one but since it is unlikely that will happen I guess I will just have to buy one but the little tractor is very nice for the price and the 12-volt battery is strong

I got this for my 3.5 year old at Christmas. He loves it and it has held up well to him running into things. It has been tough enough to not break but it hasn't damaged anything he hit either. Charging is easy and so far the battery life is good. It is noticeably shorter in high speed. My only complaint so far is that he has to hold it in reverse and sometimes forgets he has to. It would make more sense to have it lock in reverse so he could use both hands to steer.

Pretty nice machine for our 2 1/2 year old. And great price/fast, free shipping. Easy to put together and it goes very fast in 2nd gear and has a lot of torque! Goes well on all types of ground and seems to last at least an hour on a full charge on any type of ground (longer on less challenging ground). Only had it a week so far, but pretty impressed. The only thing I didn't like was the trailer connector. Very hard to snap in and out of place and feels like it will soon break. That seems like a design flaw. Honestly I don't think the trailer will get that much use anyway. Peg-Perego seems to be at the top of the powered ride-ons.

3 yr old grandson loves his tractor!!! This is his second motorized vehicle (1st f-150 truck) and since he is long legged this will suit him for several years. Very well made and a powerful motor. He never runs in 1st - that's too slow on the ground. I will say I was disappointed in the construction of the engine cover. It is very flimsy and was warped. The hinge is not durable at all as I am sure with normal wear of opening and closing to charge the battery, the VERY SMALL clip that hold it on will not last. My husband put a strap through the vent openings of the hood and tied it so that when the hood is opened it will not completely fall forward, hence (hopefully) preventing the breakage of the hood clip. I was disappointed to find it much cheaper at Wal-Mart after Christmas. Like $75.00 cheaper!

Our grandson absolutely loves this tractor. It is well built and made in the USA. highly recommend it.
