I knew what I was getting when I purchased 'the white' curtains; two layers of the black curtains help keep the light out, while the white curtain keeps the black curtains from absorbing the Suns UV's over the Summer Months. The white curtains do little to nothing at keeping the light out if you're working nights, but they are a great layer to add to help keep the interiors cool. The Winter Months, the white curtains will be cleaned; then stored while the black curtains will be used to collect the Suns UV's for the warmth.I really do love how affordable, but good quality these curtains are; versus spending a hundred or so on other curtains, you're spending FRACTIONS with these curtains and prove that working nights does not need to be complicated or expensive. I thought the weight was pretty heavy, but it's also what I expected from the product when I'm looking for something to not only help keep the light out; but also add critical insulation and save energy between Summer and Winter. In the Summer Months, my room is easily the coolest; yet warmest in the Winter Months. Not really worried about style or look; otherwise they both are fine in my books depending on your preferences. For me, a simple look and style is all that is required; very durable and simple curtains that I love using daily for work, aside from using for privacy although peeping toms are not my concern. I would expect them to perform flawlessly for that purpose, the highest lumen flashlight is not going to be able see past even one layer of the white curtains; and the black curtains, you won't even know someone is trying to use a flashlight to look into your windows because even the Sun can't look in...

Love the color. I ordered the non-grommet rod style, but they sent the rod style with the grommets. They're in my dinning room so it's fine, but would not want in my bedroom due to the light leakage from the grommets. Also, these are not blackout curtains. None of their curtains are true blackout curtains. They do definitely dim the light in the room considerably. But they are not a black out blind. They do look great. Nice material. Love the color. Very easy to hang. You do get 2 panels per pack in most sizes. Before you open your curtains when they get to your house, double check what was sent to you. I had several issues with the wrong size and color being sent. I had to go through the whole refund and reorder process instead of just an exchange. Not that it was hard or bad, just kind of irritating.

Ok listen I was so skeptical of black out curtains because I haven’t had the best luck BUT… I bought these blackout curtains for my son’s bedroom, and they are absolutely perfect! The navy blue color is rich and vibrant, and the quality is even better than I expected for the price. They block out light really well, which has helped Liam fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Which is a huge win for both of us!They were super easy to hang, and the fabric feels durable and smooth. For the price, this was such a great value, I honestly can’t believe how good they are. Highly recommend if you’re looking for affordable blackout curtains that actually work and look great too!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:They work great to keep the desert sun and heat out. My only disappointment was the color being darker than expected.

I must have bought them with a coupon or sale, because mine cost $12.75. Excellent value. They truly blast out the light, but you need to consider how you hang them. If you have a gap between window and curtain, light will get through. Also, I bought dark blue or navy and it’s a nice color and the feel of the fabric feels like a good quality. A little thick. Truly black out the light.

These curtains are absolutely amazing! The dark out and energy saving are real! I have bought SEVERAL of these curtains and the colors are great, they wash perfectly with very few wrinkles and are VERY soft. No better value for the cost! This is my go to curtain and seller every time!

One side of our house tends to get more direct sun than the other. These curtains were hung up in my husband’s gaming room. It is considerably cooler than before and is the darkest room of the house. I purchased the darker colored blue ones, and they aren’t transparent at all. I think one would run into that issue with the lighter colored ones. The day after these came in I order another set for the bedroom. Another room that gets quite a bit of direct sunlight.

We have these curtains in our living room and second bedroom. They keep the room dark and the apartment cooler on the hot days of LA summer. They feel and look good and we bought another set of panels in a different color to create a theme of blue and grey.
