I used it for the soles of my daughter’s high boots.which had come apart. As long as you follow instructions it is a marvelous product I will definitely use it again.

Quick delivery, well packaged. Easy to use, good adhesion to repair toe/sole on walking boot. Left clamped overnight and worked well. Should give a few months more wear.

Good value for money

I bought this glue to re-stick parts of the sole of a pair of shoes; a thin strip of the sole had peeled away from the rest of the rubber sole.This glue is a type of "contact adhesive" i.e. you apply a thin layer to each side of the joint, leave it to "dry" for a time then press the pieces together. My past experience of contact adhesives is they're messy to apply:a) they "string" as you try add get it out of the tin or tube andb) they dry so quickly that it's difficult to spread themI was surprised just how easy this glue was to apply - no stringyness, it went spread really easily and could be spread about to get a nice uniform, thin layer on each surface - then it stuck. I've yet to see if my soles remain stuck after walking about for a few weeks but so far I'm very pleased. So much so, I was motivated to write this review. If you want to re-stick some rubber soles then (I think) you could do a lot worse than trying this adhesive.

Wanted to stick on some rubber repair soles to leather shoes as I have many times in the past.Followed instructions applying glue to both surfaces. Seemed to take OK. However, the two soles would not stick together in the "contact" phase despite clamping.Used within a week of receiving the glue so shouldn't have been out of date.
