Duracell Durabeam ULTRA 1500 Lumens Flashlight with 4 Settings

Over time I've bought three of these. They area great for brightness and adjustability. The one thing you must remember is that, if you don't use these flashlights often, and they sit in a drawer or on a shelf, you have to replace the batteries regularly even if you don't use the flashlights. Otherwise you might one night have to go out and scare away a coyote only to find that the light won't come on at all because the batteries have corroded. Not a fault of the flashlight; more a fault of the Duracell overlord that manufacturers the batteries. Think on this a bit.

My eyes are not as good as they once were. Black objects do not stand out against dark backgrounds. This flashlight works well with its intense beam. I like it. A slight warning, this uses 4 "C" cells and they will not last long. I happily accept the tradeoff. And, the flashlight is black and it was hard to spot at times. I wrapped white tape around the head and I am going to keep it that way.

NO NARROW BEAM ! ! NOT rubberized at ends ! Very bright but does not focus beam much .)

Terrible...I brought three Durcaell 1500’s from Amazon and three small Duracell 500’s from Costco. I didn’t attempt to use them for about 2 months but when I did I discovered they were ALL DEFECTED! Some would work fine for about 2 minutes, the suddenly shut off! Some only worked for 10 seconds. I read reviews where others were having the same problem. I contacted Duracell’s Customer Service who promptly replaced the defected flashlights. About half of the replacement lights worked satisfactory, the other half had the same defect. I’ve contacted Duracell’s Customer Service a second time. Again they agreed to replace the second batch of defected lights. They definitely have a design problem and need to solve it quickly. I appreciate their willingness to replace the defected lights but it evident they’re not testing these unit before they ship. Poor quality control. Nice light when they stay ON. Makes me want to never buy another Duracell product again except batteries!

My biggest problem with the small (using AA or AAA batteries) flashlights being stored in a vehicle is that the excessive cold and heat to which such flashlights will be exposed will lead to rapid (compared to the use of C and D batteries) degradation of the batteries. Hence this flashlight using C-cells is better from the standpoint of long-term reliability (don't get me wrong, all batteries require replacement, just C- and D-cells suffer less from the temperature extremes seen be being stored in a vehicle.)

Creo que no cumple con la potencia de 1500 lumenes, existe muy poca diferencia contra una de 1000. El precio si es tractivo.

I am greatly satisfied with it. There not many reviews on youtube/web but I will be honest it's very bright.
