Getback whips are kind of a retro thing with bikers, so they're not that common anymore. They're used to help identify the bike if the owner is a member of an MC, by displaying the MC's colors on the bike. Rolling down the road, they act as a "speedometer" of sorts - the faster you're rolling, the more they blow back instead of hang down. And, in dire need, they can be used as an attention-getter. This one is all black (no colors) and is weighted to not flap around as the bike rolls. It hangs almost to the footpeg when the bike is parked, and doesn't get tangled up. The locking clasp is secure, and relatively easy to disengage.

Attachment points are limited

I have it on my 06 1200low fits perfectly doesn’t drag the ground flys well and is easy to tie weights on the end if you would rather it hang while riding. Exactly the look I was going for neutral color for my area classic look solid mechanism of attachment. Good choice for the price

I like it , but 2 things the clip to detach it is really hard to slide , then it seems like there should be a rubber piece so it doesn't slide on your lever .

Well made and of really decent quality.

Ok product but had to modify. If you want to install clutch side, you'll need to modify as the quick release is too big.

Returned the product as soon as I got it. The latch was discolored and the chrome was very poor.

The lethers is super cheap and the grips that hold the with keeps mooving on my brake. I think ill return it.
