Battery leakage clean-up miracle.
This tool is a miracle for corroded battery bays. I've used it to renew old camera flashes and calculators when the batteries leaked acid onto the terminals. The brush is long enough to reach into AA-battery bays and still have control to file away corrosion. It's easy to use, though you should be careful with the dust you'll need to remove.

An amazing little brush for my niche application
I needed a way to clean electrical contacts that had oxidized. Soaking them in vinegar, baking soda, Coke, and other fluids didn't get the contacts clean, so I used this brush and now the contacts look and work like that are brand new. I didn't know about this brush until someone brought it up, but it now has a permanent spot in my toolbox.

Good scratch brush but be careful.
Well made scratch brush. Like any other scratch brush which uses fiberglass bristles, it is strongly recommended that you wear gloves, a dust mask and periodically vacuum your work surface to remove microscopic glass shards and reduce the risk of silicosis. But it works well, if you take the precautions listed above.

Best Scratch Pen By Far!!, Best quality, Official Eurotool
I purchased this Eurotool Scratch pen to prepare pcb boards for xbox360 work. Makes the job SOOO much easier when needing to solder or make trace cuts. These can also be used for cleaning rust off things, and numerous other applications. These are the best scratch pens they make. These are the real deal not some P.O.S. knockoff. These are the official Eurotool Scratch pens, Made in Germany so you know its Superior Craftsmanship and Highest quality. The fiberglass is easily refillable and can be purchased. I was expecting a lime green color, but i got orange, no big deal, as it says colors may vary. I have and still would reccomend this to anyone i know who is doing Electronic work, soldering, or anything that involves motherboards/pcb boards, or even cleaning rust or corrosion from things.

New to using scratch brushes—revived my external camera flash.
The problem with turning 50 is all the awesome stuff you bought in your thirties is suddenly 10 to 20 years old. I came across an old Nikon external flash a while back and was not too surprised to find the battery compartment covered in corrosion and the flash seemingly dead. After several unsuccessful attempts at using solvents to clean off the battery leads I looked to the internet for advice and discovered scratch brushes. This was my first time using a scratch brush. This brush seems to be well made and after 5 minutes of using the brush on my flash I was able to pop in a new pair of batteries and the flash powered up and is back in action.

Great tool but exercise care when using
I use this tool for touching up the brushed finish on my watches. It really works well on tight spots where I cannot use my usual "go to tool", the scotch brite pad. As other have mentioned, make sure you wear protective gloves and eye wear if you are going to use this as the (nearly invisible) small fiberglass strands tend to break off. Would have been nice if there was some warning instructions that came with the tool.

Works great
After buying "scratch brushes" that didn't "scratch" or do much of anything, I figured I'd take a chance on this one. It works great. I primarily use it to clean up connections on PC boards before soldering, but it is handy for many other situations where you need to remove light corrosion or oxidation. Don't use it on plated contacts, or at least be very careful, it can go right through the plating if you get carried away!

Does the job well. Happy with my purchase. Worth the money.

A tiny bit soft but will remove rust spots on car before applying touch-up paint. When it gets soft and mushy, cut the tip with scisors and go back to work

La compré para retocar acabados cepillados en relojes - en combinación con una scotch brite funcionó muy bien. Hay que tener cuidado porque deja polvo de la fibra de vidrio.
