Great Portable Grill
I have used the grill about 8 times now. The design is very thoughtful.Build: While it's basically still new, I see no obvious signs of wear that will lead to issues. I run a rather good sized metal stamping company, so I am very familiar with the types of manufacturing used to produce these grills. Everything looks to be in good order. Tolerances seem good. Only issue I see, and it may not be an issue at all, is the charcoal basket and the cooking grate are a little thinner than what I was expecting given the caliber of the rest of the grill's materials and design. I could see those needing to be replaced after years of use. Again, this is the only build quality issue I see for a grill in this price range.Use: It does everything you would expect and then it surprises you as to how well it does what it should. It really is efficient with the use of charcoal. I did get several cooks out of what I would normally use for just one cook. If you close down the damper and the vent it cools off rather quickly. If you follow the instructions for use, you probably can save the value of the grill in a single year by reducing charcoal costs. We were able to sear and sizzle, as well as go low and slow. If they made a bigger version, I could see using that as an everyday grill as well.Overall, a very nice addition to my outdoor cooking appliances. It can handle some pretty high heat, so far I have a thin piece of galvanized metal that I put underneath the grill as heat shield to not damage the surface I am setting the grill on. Not sure if I even need a heat shield, as I have only used it on surfaces that I wouldn't use to test out that theory. I will eventually run it at full temp and put a temp probe under and on top of my heat shield to be sure. A regular wooden picnic table will be just fine without a heat shield.Get one and enjoy.

Came with bad screw, but grill is awesome
I was a little ticked off when the grill arrived with a bad screw - one of the screws for the top handle was not stamped all the way, I guess is how you'd say it - like, there is a faint outline of the phillips head slot, but not enough to actually grip a screwdriver...screw is from China most likely...so my lid has 3 screws, and one sort of halfway in. I may take it to Home Depot to see if I can find a match. Other than that - great grill. Fired it up last night - cooked everything to perfection, even chicken which can be tricky (for me). Will be nice and portable for camping trips (which is why I bought it), but is big enough to grill at home too - I had 2 burgers, 2 dogs, and 2 BIG chicken breast on it. Bought a Coleman Camping table to put it on, which works great. Overall very happy - except for the screw.

Great BBQ and Support
This is an awesome BBQ. It has a large cooking area. Never considered reusing charcoal b4 because I never had a way to put them out with my old portable grill. With that said it's a great grill that uses way less charcoal than other grills. I had one issue when I received it because one of the legs was not bent correctly causing the grill to wobble on a flat surface. I reached out to the vendor via the Amazon app and informed them of the issue. They immediately took care of the issue and FedEx'd new legs to me very fast.Recommendations to the Manufacture:Wish BBQ was more compact by making the bottom legs foldable and wish the top holder was different, so you could stack stuff on it making it more travel friendly.

Poor air flow
I wish I never wasted the money on this grill. The cooking space for it's portability is what really interested me. I received mine dented on a couple of the sides which led to rusting very quickly. Unfortunately by time it was given to me for my birthday was way after the return date. Now onto the cooking, the air chamber design on the bottom is horrible. I can't get any amount of air to flow with both the top and bottom chambers open. It just smothers out my coal. It's fine if you want to grill with the lid off but most of my cooking I need to hold my heat in. I'm sorry I didn't just stick with Weber. I should have known better.

It’s nice but there is room for improvement
It came damaged during shipping, but since I needed it for the next day, I had to fix it... it has a chip in the paint.... We used it for a camping trip and we saved a lot of charcoal and its nice that it cools down fast so you can put it back in the car with confidence. It was a pain to assemble, and once you assemble it wont fit the box where it came (not even on the bigger box from amazon that enclosed the manufacturer box) so thats why I gave 1 star in portability. I wish the stand (both bottom and top) would fold or something.

Perfect size to use and store.
Overall is a good small charcoal grill. Used it once so far and it did the job fine. One problem is that The charcoal and cooking racks do not fit into the sides cut outs properly and this causes the top not to close as it was intended. It is more expensive than the rest in a similar class.

Shipping damage — but really intelligent design!
Item arrived dented on two corners. It appears that it was dropped during shipping. The enamel coating had popped off in those spots.I used a pair of pliers to straighten out the corners and spray painted the blank metal with stove paint. It was an easy repair but product could be better protected for shipping. However the operation is the important thing and that’s where the grill really shines. They put a lot of thought into designing this grill. How to keep the handles cool, how to separate the rest of the charcoal from the ash, how to regulate the airflow, how to put down the hot lid, etc. It’s really an impressive little grill that is serving us well in our camper. I really recommend it.

One tough little grill
This grill is very unique in the fact that it is small yet very capable of providing a meal for 4 to 5 people. The grill is very easy to operate with the damper system and keeping temperature constant is a breeze. The unique system of a basket charcoal areaReally provides savings and efficiency. Are use this grill on the back of my tailgate to provide myself a prep surface. I have cooked six large ribeyes eight burgers and seven chicken quartersAt one time individually great grill for the money and a minimalist dream.
