An Awesome Marvel Mutant adventure in Japan!
I'm a huge fan of the X-Men. I've been reading Marvel Comics for years since I was a kid, but I had never read the "Kitty Pryde and Wolverine" limited series, although I had heard of it. I was not disappointed. This short collection is a must read for X-Men/ superhero fans and really any reader. Great writing as always from the creative genius behind the Uncanny X-Men, Chris Claremont, and simple yet beautiful artwork by Al Milgrom. There's a crime mystery, suspense, martial arts action & a supernatural ninja villain battling our young, brave mutant heroine, Katherine 'Kitty' Pryde in Japan. She is on a quest to save her father from a crime lord and a journey of self discovery, self mastery and a fight to regain her soul from the evil, immortal ninja Ogun. With some help from her friends, Logan (Wolverine) and Yukio, and a newfound maturity and faith in herself she will push her mind an her body to their limits, surpass them, she will walk, fight, fall, get back up and conquer her demons and triumph over adversity. Kitty Pryde will become the awesome Shadowcat.

Good follow-up to Wolverine by Claremont and Miller
I decided to read this after reading the Wolverine limited series by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. It's an excellent follow-up to that series, as it revisits some of the things that Claremont and Miller introduced while being its own story and focusing a bit more on Kitty Pryde as compared to Wolverine. Fans of either or both characters will enjoy the story, I believe. Top-notch art too.

Excellent classic mini-series
Kitty Pryde and Wolverine is an excellent mini-series, written by long-time X-men scribe Chris Claremont and drawn by Al Milgrom. The series focuses on a new direction in the Kitty Pryde character, transforming her into the ninja Shadowcat after her abduction by an evil, immortal ninja.Wolverine comes to Japan to save Kitty and along the way offers her some training in the ways of the assassin. In many ways, this mini-series serves as a companion piece to the Claremont-Miller Wolverine mini-series. If you have read that, you should definitely read this. This mini-series would also be greatly enjoyed by fans of the X-men, and anyone who loves good writing and art. In short, it's a true classic.

great series
I loved this series when I first came out, years ago and it never gets old. This was the first appearance of Katherine Pryde’s latest reinvention of herself as Shadowcat and I loved the new look and how strong she was becoming

Excellent purchase!
This comic book is a classic story involving Wolverine and Kitty Pride for all fans. When this story was published, there weren't many stories about Wolverine's past, different from now. And the part relating to Japan's ninja training was always one of the most interesting chapters in Wolverine's life. So, the first time I read this book (years ago...), introducing Wolverine's master and discovering that actually he isn't a "good guy" and now he is trying to change Kitty Pride (until now an inocent girl..) in a trully human weapon, I imagine how hard was Wolverine's past, not only because the Project Weapon X, but probably in all chapters in his life. If his master is an evil ninja, imagine the rest of his past. Nowadays we know Wolverine's past (after House of M...) with a lot of details, but years ago it was one of the secret arms of Marvel Comics (because we didn't know his true name, age, relatives, etc., different of all other super heroes).

Kitty Pryde grown up and at her best
This series got me hooked on Kitty & Wolverine characters way back when. Kitty really came unto her own, grew up and started to kick some ass. There is a sequel with her (but not Wolverine) called Shadow & Flame. Writer Chris Claremont at the top of his game.
