Works great. Quiet.
I originally purchased this to use while I ride my spin bike. The remote was useful to turn it on once the warm up portion of the spin class was finished. While it worked great in my workout room/basement, I have since moved it to the bedroom because it takes up little floor space, and is fairly quiet.
