Works really well, and good at keeping odors down. Been using this for months and months and I have 3 cats so smell can be an issue but this works so well.

Was very wary of purchasing this due to more than just a handful of reviews saying that it arrived with the bag burst....mine however didn't go that way....maybe due to it being delivered via the bag only instead of inside a box or something, regardless very nice relief there. Next thing is that upon opening it or moving it around it did appear to be quite light and loose feeling however much more dusty giving compared to Catsans. This meant that it was hard to pour out the entire bag into my two 60cm litter trays without needing to hold my breath or step away due to the massive amount of dust. (I have to do this with Catsans but leave it for less time for the dust to settle) Performance of this though was brilliant as it could have lasted over a week (although was starting to not hold the wee smells too much anymore) however I decided since my Catsans order was finally dispatched to switch it back over and found that it was MUCH easier to clean out and remove any wet mounds that appeared which were just one in each tray and very loose. (Catsans for me normally results in massive mounds that stink massively and require a bit of work) It was also much lighter still compared to Catsans when I lifted up the trash bag with both litter tray's worth of litter in it. So yeah it's lighter and much better at dealing with liquid than Catsans.....but is much dustier and can let the smell of wee slip out sooner. As a result I plan to attempt to have a mix of Catsans and this litter with it being on the bottom so it deals with the wee while Catsans is dealing with the smell and top layer stuff. Hope to update this later after trying this. Also if Catsans ever got out of stock once again or vanishes altogether from subscribe and save (for a good price) annoyingly I will be instantly placing an extra order for this.

Just before Christmas my cat went back to using a tray. She’s 16.3/4 now. She’s still going outside to mainly poop, and uses the litter during the night and to mainly pee in. Works well and I get about 4 days, before I have to change it. I prefer this to the clumping type, because I find it less work. The pieces of litter are larger than catsan, there’s no odour and less dust than the clumping type. I’d actually score it a 4.4 and catsan 5 which is my preferred one. Only problem is that catsan is more expensive, but does give me a full week of use. This is a great, cheaper alternative to catsan.

I bought this as a replacement for my usual litter as it had fairly good reviews and was more affordable. I liked it for the first week as it Great for absorbing poo and it’s smell but does nothing for the wee. It sits there and soaks through which makes it harder to scoop and eventually started to smell bad. Might be good to mix with another brand but definitely not great on its own. If you enjoy sweeping/hoovering, you’ll be doing a lot of that as grains are quite large so they track ALOT and you’ll find them everywhere.

Before the festive period there was a run on cat litter as stormcloud Omicron was thundering in the offing. We have three indoor Orientals and I was unable to find our longstanding non clumping litter ***san. I ordered 2 bags of this product to tide us over. Initial impression was resigned pessimism. We have tried dozens of litters over the years. Smaller lighter bag. Less dense granules but easy to carry and pour. The litter then got on with the job. Greater absorbency, much drier poos, less odour. Slightly more scatter from litter box but easy to sweep as less crumbly. We all caught Omicron and I have just found the energy to empty and clean the trays. 11 days zero effort, what's not to like. Would use again.

I usually buy another brand but, I thought I would buy this one. Good quality, lasts a long time, the only downside is that there is still a smell of the cat when they have used it for a wee, but I put the tray out in the sun all day, and it goes. Will use again for the cats
