I had originally bought Ring's smart lighting plus its required hub = $65. I decided to cancel order and try Sengled's bulb for $11+...Best choice I made. Their app is so user-friendly, a kid can operate it; it is an easy and quick process. I set the settings to turn on & off and works just fine. I set it to work w Alexa. My only issue is that the bulb was not so "daylight"-like which is supposed to be a bit blueish, mine looks a bit yellowish but that's the least of my worries for now. I might need to check the opacity since it can be adjusted. All and all, it is a great and inexpensive product to rely on.

PROS: I have a detached garage that I have power ran to and a outside light fixture for security and safety when leaving before dawn to work or coming home late, only problem is I never ran a switch to the house to turn that light on/off and really didn't want to dig another trench and buy more crazy expensive wire to get it working so this is my cheapest solution since i have internet. CONS: It only works if your internet is working, will not work on local internet, can not log into sengled app or Alexa to make it work unlike other devices I own that will work on local internet when there is a outage.

UPDATE: There are several Sengled Apps. Loading the right one worked perfectly. Took time to figure it all out, but light works great with Alexa. Nice and bright, able to dim and control easily. Great smart bulb.

Light works well when it is actually working. Lost connection to the Alexa app and now it lost connection to the Sengled app. Save yourself frustration and buy a different brand.

We have tried multiple brands of Alexa compatible bulbs over the years and we like these the best. We like the "daylight" light more than the other types and these work very well! They install in seconds and don't require a hub. We love them and you will too. Buy some for yourself today.

Sucks

This was easy to set up via the app and I can control the lights away from home. I am currently STILL struggling to set up a watch I bought my grandson a month ago if that tells you how easy this was! I do not care for the weird cast of the "daylight" bulb so I am going to try the warm white. For piece of mind while away from home I can deal with it. UPDATE I purchased one more bulb in Soft light and it will not connect. It blinks but will not connect so it is useless as a a security bulb so I am taking off 2 stars.

Have bought these bulbs before, never an issue connecting with Alexa and they work very well

Funciona con Alexa, muy bien, puedes decidir ka intensidad de la luz e incluso con la app prender o apagar de forma remota. Solo si se va el Internet o lo deja de reconocer de repente se pone un poco loco

Tout à coup, sans crier gare, l'application cesse de fonctionner. Malgré tout, ça revenait assez rapidement. Or, depuis hier, 19 juin 2025, l'application ne répond plus. La compagnie ne fait aucun commentaire sur la situation et nous laisse dans notre m***. Bien contente de ne pas avoir ma maison au complet avec Sengled. Je vais supprimer l'application et remplacer toutes les lumières par celles d'une autre compagnie. Passez votre chemin si vous voulez acheter leurs produits.

Easy to program & connect with Alexa on Echo dot. Easy to use love voice control. Would prefer a bit more brightness!
