These lights are incredible and easier on my eyes at night. My grandson had them up and running in about 15 mins. These were not expensive at all. The colors are beautiful and they plug into the USB port perfectly. Be sure to clean the back of the TV exactly as the instructions request. They even provide a cloth to make sure it's clean. Then be sure the area is dry and the lights will stick perfectly. The lights come on a reel making the install much easier. Very good quality for the price.

Purchased this LED backlight set for an 85 inch Samsung. I wanted a reliable inexpensive LED backlight set that used a USB power source with a usable remote control. This HAMLITE product is exactly what I wanted and has delivered great performance and quality without breaking the bank. It was also super easy to install using the adhesive backing along the entire back of the LED lighting strip. It is also made to gently bend at the corners for consistent coverage. Unlike a cheaper model I purchased before and returned, this HAMLITE product works as advertised. Produces a nice ambient backlight even in a well-lit room, and really shines when the lights are dimmed. The remote works perfectly from anywhere in the room regardless if its in direct line sight with the USB module. I previously tried to purchase a less expensive USB powered model for about $12 (Maylit) and it was complete junk and returned it. I didn't want the more expensive model that used a camera that hung over top of the TV to sense the changing images on the TV to change the backlight colors. I wanted a simple, reliable, clean looking LED backlight that used a USB power source, and didn't break the bank. If you're looking for the same, this HAMLITE LED backlight is for you. Aside from other reviews, one thing that drew me to this product was the statement shown on the product site by Amazon that stated it had been returned for refund less than other similar products. This statement was in a green box with green font. I had never noticed kind of statement from Amazon before but found it helpful and after my purchasing experience with this type of device, I will definitely see it as a good sign for future purchases. I've only had this HAMLIT LED set for a couple of weeks as of the date of this review (Feb 2024) and will update my review if my experience with this product changes.

Works and installs in minutes. Looks great and the remote offers lots of options and works well from 10-12’ away. No issues. Plugs into the standard rear USB and the lights stick to the frame of the tv rear. Perfect. Make sure when you cut off the excess you cut across the little gold lines. It’s in the instructions. Simple. Good quality.

I plugged mine into an always-on USB source, so I can use them as a nightlight even with the TV off. Super easy to install, other than the fact that it can be difficult getting your arms around a giant TV. No problems at all, but I don't like that you can't change the color temperature of the default white. Warm white would've been a nice option, but it's not available.

Alright so I didn’t expect to care this much about some lights behind my TV, but here we are. Got the HAMLITE LED setup for my 85” and it’s actually sick. First off, it was super easy to stick on—whole thing took maybe 10–15 minutes tops. The adhesive actually holds, which surprised me. The brightness is legit. It doesn’t feel cheap or washed out like some others I’ve tried before. Colors are solid, and it definitely gives the room a more high-end vibe at night. I use the remote more than I thought I would—nice to be able to quickly change up the mood. Only small thing is that I wish the cable was just a little longer but not a huge deal. If you’ve got a big screen, this is one of those small upgrades that just makes everything feel better. Movies, games, even just background light when you’re on the home screen—worth it.

Love these lights! Installed them in 5 minutes, and was immediately impressed by how bright these actually can get! Plenty of color options, plenty of range in brightness, and very easy to install. I bought the 70-85 inch strand for my 75” TV & it works perfect. Couple things worth mentioning that I was skeptical about but ended up not being an issue. 1) Input Power - my USB’s power rating is 5V 900mA MAX & was plenty of power- even though it days it requires 1000mA (or 1A) 2) Excess Length - I have installed plenty of LED strip lights in my career, so when I was reading that you couldn’t cut these strips I was a little confused. LED strip lighting runs off a power transformer, and this transformer is specified for the exact LED fixtures and their quantities- including length! So YES, if you bought a 100’ strip and cut it in have, you may run in to overpowering your strips and burning them out. But if you buy a strip that’s within 5’ of the length you need it’s OK to cut the strip. You MUST CUT THE STRIP AT THE EXPOSED COPPER CONNECTIONS. The place where it says RGB+, and has some copper exposed- the brown stuff. That’s what you cut. Right down the center. Don’t cut it where you see RGB+ and it has some solder connecting the pieces. Just the flat areas I’d say work. I cut off about 1’ of mine & the lights were fine. It worked even better for me since I’m under powering my lights by 100mA- so the difference in lights I’m losing ended up keeping the brightness! These are great! Buy them. Plug them into your USB before you unroll it just to make sure your USB powers it correctly!

This was a good tight fit on a 75inch TV. We had only a little bit of extra length left over so I am not sure how well this would fit an 80 inch or 82 inch if you go right by the edges of the TV (which is what I did). It supports a variety of colours and brightness is good. Reduces eye strain at night which does the job.

Not the best for trying to bend at corners

Was worried it would be hard to install since my TV is mounted very close to the wall but surprisingly was fairly easy. Adhesive is quite sticky, just hoping it will last a long time. Remote is simple to use. There are 17 colours to choose for single colour display and also 3 or 7 alternating colours with either fading or flashing mode. Brightness is adjustable as well. Overall very happy with this product. Highly recommended.

Looks great on my 75 inch tv.Sticks really well no issues just be careful you need to bend the corners slightly when installing.Highly recommend just ordered 1 more for my 55 inch.... remote and USB works well.Looks Awsome.👍
