Most comfortable holster I’ve ever had!
By far the most comfortable holster I’ve had for appendix carry, all of my ccp’s will have one of these holsters from here on out! Highly recommend! I hate how other holster would dig into my skin and be completely uncomfortable standing, sitting, or any other regular daily task. It made me not want to carry everyday. Not anymore! You can change the depth of this holster as well so it can fit your frame better.

Well made and hides very concealed.
With this kind of purchase and knowing that on Amazon you can update your review, I always start with 5 stars if everything looks to be as described and well built. At this point only having this holster for one day I can offer first impressions and how it compares to the CrossBreed that I have carried daily for the last 6 years. First would be build quality. This holster seems to be very well made. The fit and finish are outstanding. The first thing that I realized when making the adjustments for fit and proper positioning for carrying was how strongly the belt clips hold to your belt and how firm the holster holds the sidearm. In all my time carrying with the crossbreed I found three design issues with it that weren't extreme but were both anoying and concerning. 1. It squeaked even when oiled and well broke in. Not nearly as much after the first 6 months or so, but like most quality leather. It did and even enough to be heard by the person walking next to you. I finally added two of those carpet backed self-sticking furniture pads made to go under chair legs to protect hardwood floors etc. between the belt hooks and the leather. This cut down most of the sound but it was still there. 2. The rear hook on the Crossbreed often came away (unhooked from belt) leaving the rig dangerously unsecured and only noticeable when you happen to feel your rig working out high enough to risk exposure. I should point out that this only happened when I would crouch down to greet one of my dogs or a small child etc. 3. My Crossbreed put very little retention pressure on my sidearm ( Colt 1911 Commander) often leaving me to wonder what would happen if I ever had to really run while carrying. Let alone if you were to have to hang upside down for some strange reason. So far if the indicators from first impressions are even close to what is to be expected are correct. I do not expect any of these issues with the model Alian Gear offering that I received. Tomorrow 01/10/19 will be the first full day of its use. I will check back in a couple of weeks with an update. Hoping to be able to leave its rating at five stars. Update; Still five stars after daily carry for many months now. The only issue I've had was losing two of the spacers and screws that hold the holster to the backing material. This I would recommend checking now and then. Or once you know the combination that you like maybe using a removable lock-tight on the screws. I really like this holster and I am completely won over with both the design and quality of it at any price. I will add that you most defiantly will not have to worry about the clips hopping over your belt and freeing your rig. LOL, you will see what I mean should you decide to give it a try.

Great IWB Holster!
I've worn many holsters through my career both on and off duty and I have to tell you, this is one of the best holsters I've had the pleasure of wearing. Comfort: I was so impressed on how comfortable it was to carry my 3" 1911 that I bought a second one for my 3" 9mm. The holsters confirms to the body and holds the pistol in place without concerns of mishaps. The trigger is protected and it has three positions you can adjust for depth in your trousers. Retention: The pistol holds secure. If you were involved in hand to hand combat scenario, the pistol would stay in place. We tested it on the mat and was pleasantly surprised on how it protected the pistol and remained in place. My pistol never moved or shifted while wearing this holster. Position: Carrying the holster in the 1-2 o'clock position was not as comfortable as carrying it in the 3-5 o'clock position. I highly recommend a good belt to lock that holster in place and practice your draw to adjust to the proper height setting of the holster. Printing: With other holsters, I was very conscious of the type of shirts to where to minimize printing. With this holster, I found I can wear just about any shirt, pants/short and it does a great job in minimizing printing.

It’s decent…
Here’s my disclaimers: I’m a bit critical with my holster I’m not used to carrying 4:30 This is a large frame gun I’m attempting to conceal. Now that that’s out of the way here’s what I like: More comfortable than most Concealment is pretty good when standing still or sitting Very modular and customizable If you’re skinny enough (I’m not), you can feasibly carry appendix semi comfortably, just make sure you’re wearing a big shirt My gripes: God forbid you bend over, everyone in a 2 mile radius will see you’re carrying even on the low tuck setting. Not ideal. Retention is meh, I personally like that positive “click” when you’re fully holstered. You don’t get that with this guy, even after tightening the retention screws. It’s taxing putting on and taking off. This is probably my biggest issue with this. If you know it’s going to be a pain to put on, you’re less likely to carry, especially if you’re in a rush. On top of that, if you need to remove it (say you’re walking into a bar or a courthouse and want to leave your gun in the car), it’s not a quick and discreet process. I also find that I need to wear my belt tighter than usual to keep it secure, which is annoying. Overall it’s not a bad option by any means. I’m concealing a large frame g20, it’s not going to be an easy task. I expect a bit more out of my holsters but this will definitely get the job done if you’re limited on options.

Great fit and very comfortable
The fitment for my Shield 45 was perfect, easy to access and very comfortable to wear. As an added bonus it fits my Shield plus just as well. Great holster! I'd recommend it to anyone.

Clock tuck holster
I was a little unsure about these holsters, I got one for my Glock 19.( I used to be a fobus guy) Once I got it set up and wore it a couple times, it really does make it feel like it's not there. Now I have 4 of them!

The backing is very stiff
I ended up returning this holster as I found the backing to be overly large and very stiff/uncomfortable. The holster is well made, and if it's your style, it may be perfect, but not for me. Ironically, I own a 3.0 version of the same holster, and I find it very comfortable. Perhaps Alien Gear changed the composition of the backing between their versions.
