Wow, crazy expensive for boots, huh? Well, that is because these are the Rolls Royce of boots. They are going to be more on the narrow side (at first) then widen a bit with time. Not a ton, so if you have hugely wide feet, these are more on the narrow side. That said, for the average person, and I have SEVERE plantar fasciitis, these are great for hiking, climbing, shoveling snow, or just playing in snow. They are heavy, but they do not leak and water will not get in. The grip is noticeable and you can climb the side of a mountain with these if need be. For all they do and the incredible amount of work that goes into making a pair, they are worth every penny. LOTS of people are going to ask you "Where did you get those?" "What kind of shoes are those?" etc. They look like nothing else because they perform like nothing else - so they cost more.

I have a very flat and narrow size 9 and these are the best fitting boots I have ever bought. I have put 25 miles on them in the 5 days since I bought them. 16 miles of which being a continuous 6 hour journey with a large pack on. They have not rubbed or had any issues normally accosiated with "breaking in" a stiffer boot that covers your ankle. I plan to wear these on a week in the San Juan mountains and I am confident they will be the right boot for the trek.

Der Schuh ist unglaublich leicht und sitzt in meinem Fall perfekt. Ich habe ihn direkt aus dem Karton für eine anspruchsvollere kleine Tour eingesetzt und weder Blasen, noch andere Probleme wahrgenommen. Er bietet einen sehr guten Halt und behindert dabei nicht. Die Steigeisentauglichkeit habe ich noch nicht erprobt, kaufe ich ihm aber sofort ab! Die Schnürsenkel finde ich etwas kurz geraten. Andererseits sind sie für meinen Fuß gerade lang genug und schleifen so auch nicht irgendwo rum. Die bunte Farbe machte mich anfangs skeptisch. Wirkt aber gar nicht schlecht. Aus meiner Sicht sein Geld wert!

Per un trakking settimanale (camminate in montagna) ottimo, confortevole ed a tenuta di rugiada, pioggia, misto neve, ecc. con una suola aderente al terreno, ai sassi e misto. Peso ideale per una sicurezza al piede. Per la durata vi saprò dire più avanti, ma salewa di solito è sinonimo di "tenuta nei materiali utilizzati". Al momento utilizzo solo la marca "salewa" e sarà difficile che la cambio. Ordinati, pagati ed arrivati anche un giorno prima, complimenti come sempre ad amazon.

Da es nicht der erste Schuh dieser Firma ist den ich getragen habe, bin ich dieser Marke treu geblieben und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Passform ist für meinen Fuß perfekt, die Bindung lässt sich sehr gut einstellen, besonders wenn man mal etwas mehr Zug auf die Spitze benötig. Der Schuh ist bis jetzt Wasserdicht und denke er wird es auch länger bleiben.Die Dämpfung könnte etwas besser sein, was aber wohl der steiferen Sohle zu schulden ist.Im großen und ganzen ein fast perfekter Schuh, für unwegsames Gelände.

Ho un altro paio di scarponi analoghi, di una versione precedente. Questi per ora sono stati solo collaudati, ma l'inizio è sicuramente promettente. La promessa di non causare vesciche è sicuramente veritiera, almeno lo è stata nel mio caso. Mi piace anche il miglioramento del sistema di aggancio dei lacci, che già era ottimo ma, secondo me, gli occhielli con carrucola sono veramente efficaci. Il colore, da nuovi, è un po' sgargiante ma confido che con l'uso, presto, diventi molto meno appariscente. Sicuramente un gran bel paio di scarponi. Veramente ottimi.
