Did not know but the strong black ties for hair will break hair off. The softer buggies don’t do as much damage. I have switched over and it is true. Much easier on the hair less frizz caused.

I was really close to cutting my hair cuz I couldn't find a hair tie that would hold up my hair and a ponytail that was strong enough. I think heavy hair and I am so excited that I found these. I'm actually putting an order in for a second batch. You're a girl you know hair ties get lost and I shared some of these with my mom. I only have to twist them two to three times to get a super high ponytail and low ponytails I only have to twist it twice and it stays in. If you have thick hair and you've given up hope of finding a good hair tie you need to try these! You'll let them.
