After almost ten years in service, one of the bulbs in our kitchen range hood failed. We've been religious about fitting LED replacement bulbs, so initially replaced all the halogen bulbs in the hood with claimed extra-bright LED's. Complaints from mrs dr bob about LED brightness and color brought me back to halogens. These bulbs came compactly packaged, at a very good price especially compared with buying them locally in retail packaging. They are comparable to the Bosch bulbs originally fitted. I went ahead and replaced all the bulbs in the hood, and expect another decade of performance from them. When these start to fail then, I'll still have enough to replace the wholes set again. I don't expect to buy another set, assuming I remember to look in the spare-bulbs bin for that next round. The economics: Numbers people will explain that it makes no sense to invest in future value more than about six years out, based on current interest rates. Meanwhile, having spares in hand for the few dollars adds a comfort factor that I won't need to go shopping for them again when the next one fails. It's a really cheap "comfort" factor.

They fit our under shelf kitchen lights perfectly and have a good amount of brightness. Can't speak for the length of time they'll work before burning out but I think they work just fine and I'm happy with them.

Purchased this bulb to replace a small lamp on my deck. I only needed one but the 10 pack was a great value. The bulb fit in easily, was easy to install and I like the color. The only issue I have found is that the bulb gets REALLY HOT! Overall, a good quality product.
