This 4-inch diameter cauldron is a great value and was close in price to others that were only 2-3 inches in diameter. I find this size much more versatile than the smaller versions while still fitting neatly on my tabletop. I love that the tripod legs sit firmly on a standard 4-inch stone coaster. The lid is a definite plus, and the wire bail handle is sturdy and well attached. The cast iron is hefty, looks pleasingly rustic, and has not chipped or rusted with 3 months of weekly use. Upon receipt, I cleaned and lightly oiled the entire cauldron and lid and put it in a hot oven for about an hour to season. So far it has been easy to wipe clean after each use. Dimensions: 4-inch interior bowl width; 6-inch exterior width with handles; 2.75-inch interior bowl depth; 3.75-inch height without lid, including the legs; 5-inch height with lid, including the legs. This should last a lifetime with standard cast iron cleaning and care.

Item is rather small but it serves its purpose! Item is very sturdy and made of cast iron and was priced well. I hope to find a larger one soon. I haven’t cleaned it but I use it for burning small pieces of paper. BEWARE that if you are burning paper that the cauldron does get hot and will burn you.

Perfect size, guys in my hand but it's sturdy and definitely real cast iron. It's true to color description. It extinguished my burning sage stick safely with the lid partly on and doesn't get too hot to the touch. The lid and the handles are the best part. The handles hold the weight off the

I’m in love with my cauldron! After searching for months for the “perfect” one I finally came across this one by New Age Imports. Although it’s only 4 inches, it’s a nice size and bigger than I was expecting it to be. It’s perfect for what I need it for (burning small things like herbs, paper, etc) and it’s wonderful that the 4inch option came with a lid so I can do my burning indoors if I wish and can quickly and easily put the fire out. It’s quite heavy and super sturdy, but still very aesthetically pleasing. Simple yet sofisticated. The cast iron is beautiful and it’s definitely not spray painted like many others I’ve seen. This little pot will likely last a lifetime. I’ve had it for a few months now.. I usually try to wait a while before posting my reviews to make sure I get the full effect and unbiased opinion. I love this cauldron, which is the first in my growing collection. This is fire safe, a perfect size if you're just starting out, and completely great quality. I have no complaints at all.
