Mossy rain scent
The actual roll on itself smells like cologne so that made me nervous. But on my skin, it smells like mossy grass / air / summer rain and it’s very pleasant

My favorite fragrance is salt air
I love this perfume oil roll on to tuck into my purse. Salt Air is a light, fresh fragrance that kind of does remind me of summers at the shore. It’s not too strong and the oil version lasts longer than the spray in my opinion. I have never had the roller get stuck or the bottle leak. I’ve used many of their fragrances and salt air is my favorite.

Quality long lasting scents.
I bought petrichor, thunderstorm and paperback. The petrichor kind of smells like a wet garden when in the bottle, but it definitely changes on your skin to a more musky/woody smell. The paperback has a cork-like smell, honestly I can see a book smelling like it for sure, and the thunderstorm one is by far my favorite. It does smell like wet/rotting foliage and earth. And it's so far the only one that doesn't interact with my skins chemistry so much that it changes. I put some on yesterday and my wrist still faintly smells of damp earth. Very pretty scent. Highly recommend. All three scents that I got will personally be well loved.

Thunderstorm scent
Thunderstorm smells good. Good, not great. And it doesn’t smell like a thunderstorm to me, it’s an unusual smell but a pleasant one, nonetheless. The big problem I have with it is; I bought the roller applicator version of this scent and I applied a generous amount to my wrists and back of my neck and less than five 5 min later I asked my gf to smell my wrists and neck and she smelled… nothing. I smelled my wrist and the scent was…gone. I was disappointed but learned an inexpensive lesson.

Fresh scent- look elsewhere for dirt/mud
I know everyone smells things differently due to association, to me this smells like the white and green parts of a watermelon rind- but not the fruit or juice. It's a slightly sweet damp vegetation smell, and it also smells slightly of camphor (think Vicks but not nearly as strong & no menthol or eucalyptus) That said this is not a muddy earth smell. It doesn't smell of soil, more a pleasant vegetation type of musk, or closer to wet concrete sidewalks than wet dirt. It does not smell like grass either.I love this scent very much and bought it to layer with other scents since I enjoy mixing it up. Definitely perfect for a summer or spring scent. Lasts about 4 hours or so if applied during moisturizing after a shower and allowed time to soak in.

Disappointing but usable
I read tons of reviews on this scent and Rain by Demeter. Based on reviews, I chose to try this one.If you want anything that smells natural or like it's a mix of essential oils, this isn't it. Nothing about this perfume smells natural to me. I had hoped it would at least smell earthy and like nature in some fashion, but it doesn't at all.If you want something neutral and agender, this scent may work for you. It leans toward masculine, but only in the way that it lacks sweetness or floral qualities. My wife's stolen it for herself, because she likes the smell far more than I do.The scent didn't cause any headache or allergies for me (a standard problem with some synthetic scents). It reminds me of my old Irish grandpa, like someone who used a scented bar soap and then maybe sat out in the garden for an hour or two. I know, that's a weird description - but I can't think of anything better.

I'll be damned if that doesn't smell pretty much exactly like a thunderstorm
Wow. I love the smell of a thunderstorm so I thought I'd give it a skeptical try. I knew there would be something... "evocative" of a thunderstorm because demeter is amazing at that olfactory manipulation. Combining elements in such a way that you can't remember the scent being the real thing unless you smell the real thing again, such a great trick... but when I tell you that I just put this Thunderstorm on right out of the package... and I smell wet leaves being blown through pouring down rain and ozone & petrichor...all the smells that come out of the ground as it gets washed & slowly saturated... I mean it is wild! If you need to smell a thunderstorm, get this. Either Demeter really got me again, or I just put a real thunderstorm on my pulse points.

unisex, nostalgic and sexy
Fourth purchase of thunderstorm. It is very unique, and really does remind me of the wet dirt after a thunderstorm In the desert. FYI I am from Arizona. My only gripes the bottles are now round. They seem to hold more but don't fit the "library" square aesthetician I'm used to with demeter. But times change, the scent hasn't.
