I used these as placecards for Thanksgiving, but they would work well for any number of occasions. The cardstock is of a nice weight and finish (not too rough). The printing on the laurel leaf detail almost has the feel of handstamping, but is not sloppy in any way. I used a black marker to write names, but you could also use a chalk pen, a gold or silver metallic marker, etc. depending on your color scheme. Also, I used these in placecard holders and they were not too thick, but they also would stand alone on the table.
