I've needed one of these for awhile now, so I finally got one! It worked well for a smoked pork loin my husband made and kept it from being overcooked as had happened in the past. It will be great for deep frying as well, and has a clip to secure it to the edge of the fryer. It's very simple and easy to use. The guage is a litter smaller than I expected it to be, but it's readable, and doesn't change the performance. It seems to be accurate.

Total POS. As you can see in the photo, the face melted. This happened during the first use, at less than 325 F

Did not fit my silver series, it was too small in diameter

Ordered this product to test my oven temp in a new appliance. Works well. Sometimes gets in the way of pans because it hangs off the upper rack.
