Adds immersion to my D&D games. Good looking pieces, with the heft of real money.

The next best thing to buying a Fantasy Mint
We had just started a Fantasy game and we had talked about having a treasury of token coins for a little more immersion at the table. I found these and figured it was cheap enough that I could afford to take a risk. I got one set for each player as part of Christmas gifts for my table (Later I picked up a 6th set to fill out the coins a bit more and a big bag of plastic gems). The coins are beautiful, very consistently stamped and have a nice weight and thickness to them. The included pouches made it really easy to remember who's money was who's when we clean up after game. We ended up liking having physical coins more than we imagined. It adds a nice gravitas to the game when you can feel the weight of what you spend on party supplies or expensive weapons and armor. My only regret is that we don't always play games where coins are a useful prop. Even still, having my old treasure chest sitting on the sidelines full of fantasy coins is a fun prop to admire.

Fantasy currency come to life!
I have been on the hunt for fantasy coins that came in gold, silver, and bronze/copper that had versatility between the three, and these hit the nail on the head! Some coins are shinier than others, which I think adds to the realism that some were minted earlier than others. I think these match the value for what you pay. 10/10

Best non-denominational currencty at a reasonable price.
I read the reviews before purchasing. I put more weight on the negative reviews. Then tend to be more honest. For the most part, I agree with some of those negative reviews. The coins all have a nice heft. They have a nice metalic feel. The metal used feels like a zink alloy. Definitely not a favorite of mine, but the thickness of each coin makes up for that. They all feel nice in the hand and give a nice metalic sound. Who doesn't like a coin purse that jingles right?Of the 3 types of coins, the Stag is by far my favorite. The artwork and color is just so beautiful on the Stag. The Dragon would be my second favorite. There too the artwork and color are beautiful, but I'm not a fan of how worn they are. The base relief is very shallow on the dragon side of the coin. So much so that a few of my dragons you can barely make out the detail in the dragon itself. The flip side of that coin has the better detail. Almost as if the dragon image wasn't stamped very well. My least favorite is arguably the most detailed of the coins. The Kracken has a lot of nice detail on both sides. The stamp is very crisp and clear. The only thing I have against the Kracken is what many other negative reviews point out. The Kracken is super bright. It has that look of coming straight off the press while the other coins look as though they've been in circulation for a while. It's hard to say anything back about the Kracken, because really it's got very nice detail on both sides. I love the ominous look of the coin. I just need a way to make it look weathered so it fits better with the other two.Overall, these coins are amazing. The price seems steep, but after purchasing several game tokens over the years and also collection various fantasy coins, I can say the price is really good. Especially when you're receiving a bag of 60. This being my final comment and one that gives this product the HIGHEST of recommendations. Thank you so much for a non-denominal currentcy. I LOVE that each coin is very unique, yet as a bounty blend together very well. You blindly reach into your purse and there's no mistaking which coin you grabbed. Even on the table they stack and clink together with a very satisfying sound. Also, thank you for supplying a well balance in quanity of each coin. The 10,20,30 break down is perfect for most generic uses.I'll point out that although I agree with most that say the Kracken is their least favorite of the three coins, I should repeat that this coin is by no means lesser than the other two. It's lovely in every way. I didn't not have the flaking of silver dust that some of the other reviewers pointed out. I didn't experience that on any of the coins.Overall, very satisfied.

Don't get alcohol on the "gold" coins.
Amazing metal coins, but the replica "gold" coins are coated with a light spray of alcohol soluble ink. It gives them a vibrant color, and they are very good in the hand, but alcohol will pull all that wonderful color right off the coins.

Durably adaptable
I quite like these coins. The weight actually feels like coin. They are made of metal (inadvertently stuck to a magnet i had nearby). The designs are actually rather pretty. Gold is dragon with latticework on the back. Silver is a very cool squid with concentric circles on the obverse side with little knotted loops. Copper is a stag sporting branched antlers while the other side is a tree of life similar to the antlers. I like that we have been able to use them for a number of games without having the telltale design of a specific game/culture/universe.Even the bag they come in is nicely soft and pliable and feels as if it will last for years. Very good buy.

Impressive quality for an affordable price!
Whilst looking for some metal coins to supplement my tabletop games, I happened to stumble across these coins and immediately thought, "I must have them!" Not only are they incredibly detailed and beautifully cast, but the coins themselves bear a good weight (and make for a satisfying jingle when shaking the pouch). For the price, I was actually quite astonished with how good they were. My only critique would be that the tarnishing on the gold coins leaves a bit to be desired, but it doesn't detract from the value of it at all. No noticeable misprints on mine that others have brought up, and the leather pouch's drawstrings appear to function just fine for me --granted, I prefer a tighter draw on the pouch so that the coins can't accidentally slip out. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that is wanting to add a bit of realness to their campaigns, especially given the nondenominational value of each coin, so it can fit nicely into most settings without issue! All in all, kudos to the makers, will probably buy more in the future as a gift!

Great coins with a circulated finish
The media could not be loaded. I actually like everything about these coins I’ve bought 4 of these packs. The coins themselves are a nice weight don’t feel cheap, however if your someone who likes the bright shiny coins these Probobly won’t satisfy that feeling as they come with a worn circulated finish. The worn look however adds a great role playing rpg feel which is something I enjoy
