Review of Alaskan Cod Liver Oil: A Superior Choice for Health and Wellness
Review of Alaskan Cod Liver Oil: A Superior Choice for Health and Wellness I’ve been using Alaskan Cod Liver Oil for a yea now, and it has truly been a game-changer for my overall health. From the first few weeks of incorporating it into my daily routine, I noticed significant improvements in my energy levels, joint mobility, and even my mental clarity. What sets Alaskan Cod Liver Oil apart is its purity and quality. Being harvested from pristine Alaskan waters, this product provides a rich source of essential omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A and D, and other nutrients critical for optimal health. The transparency in sourcing and the rigorous testing for contaminants give me peace of mind that I’m consuming one of the purest supplements available. One of the standout benefits I’ve experienced is enhanced skin health. My complexion has improved and issues like dryness and irritation have all but disappeared. Additionally, my immune system feels stronger—I’ve managed to stay healthy even during the usual cold and flu seasons. I also appreciate that the oil has a mild flavor, based on its lemon content, which makes it easy to take daily. For those who might be sensitive to the taste of fish oil, the subtle, clean flavor is a huge plus. The packaging is also convenient and ensures freshness with every use. Overall, Alaskan Cod Liver Oil has become an essential part of my wellness routine. It’s an investment in long-term health that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to boost their vitality and support key bodily functions. A five-star product all the way!

Very very good, no fish smell and color is beautiful
I have never taken cod liver fish oil before in liquid form. I was going on google and Amazon to look at diff brands and read reviews. I was looking into Icelandic and Nordic but was horrified by some of the reviews but I mean you’ll have some of those. This will sound ignorant or silly but I wanted an oil that I knew was mad closer to home (even though I’m pretty sure Nordic and all those EU brands are bottled here) I thought maybe i would get a better quality product if it wasn’t shipped from far away. I actually found this brand on google and saw it was on Amazon. Almost 60$ but honestly I just opened the bottle today and I was flabbergasted that there wasn’t a single fish smell. I love fish fyi but I can’t stand overpowering fish smell. Research has noted that if it is really fishy it more than likely has gone bad and/ or oxidized. I am very impressed with this oil, the color was beautiful, the taste was superb. I tried a teaspoon and it went down easy. Just tastes like an olive oil (subjective) I am very interested to see if this helps my skin and I will report back if anything changes. Remember to take this with a fat, example. With cheese or nuts it will help absorption of the vit D

NO fishy taste or smell!!
My review is about the smell and taste of this On Target Living CLO. I've just started using it, so I can't attest to any medical benefits one way or the other. I tried this brand based on the reviews that it's not 'fishy', and also that it has naturally occurring vitamins A & D as opposed to many other brands that over process the oil and have to add the vitamins back in. I can't tolerate the odor of anything 'fishy' at all - not even a little bit, absolutely not in the least can I take that odor or taste (maybe because my mother gave me CLO as a child, and it was sooo nasty it ruined me for that smell/taste forever, idk). So, based on other reviewers saying it had no fish taste or smell, I gave the small bottle a try. I'm glad I did. It truly has **zero** fish odor or taste. To me (and to my husband) it tastes like a lemon-ish flavored olive oil and has about the same consistency, maybe a bit less thick than olive oil. It's thick, but not overly so and not hard at all to swallow, even when it's cold (refrigerate after opening). The lemon flavor is there but it isn't a strong lemon taste. I can't say that it's 'tasty', but it's not nasty or bad at all, and the usual dose apparently is a tiny 5 ml/teaspoon. I take it after my coffee in the morning with a sip of coffee to chase it and it's all good. I haven't had any burping or other special fx. I don't know how well it does (or doesn't) work as a supplement, but if you're looking for a product that doesn't taste or smell like fish and has (natural) vitamins A & D, this is it.

Pleasantly Surprised
This is truly an amazing Cod Liver Oil. I am early in taking it so I will hold off writing about effectiveness, though I have seen a few changes in my body I am shocked about in a good way. If it truly does have natural vitamin A and D like they said, and in the amounts they say, this is the only CLO you will want to take. Why? Because THIS TASTES AMAZING. I do take it straight sometimes but the lemon can really ADD good flavor to a pineapple smoothy, or probably anything made with citrus fruits. I put mine in a frozen pineapple milk protein smoothie in the morning and it tastes divine. I have yet to taste the fishy taste. I keep mine refrigerated. You can tell it is fresh caught and flash frozen and the top of the barrel stuff. The fact that is does not have any fake and toxic vitamin A and d in it is important. There is no comparison to any of the Norwegian garbage I have taken before. I stopped taking CLO decades ago because I could tell something was wrong with the stuff coming out of Norway. Sure enough, saw documentary on it and they were feeding the fish toxic pellets from the nuclear waste dump sea by Russia. To deodorize it, they had to take out all of the natural vitamin A and D and put in synthetic. Really? What's the point? If you are in the market for a fish oil that not only has the NATURAL vitamins you are taking it for, but want one that you will actually keep taking because you and your kids will love it, do not hesitate. This is the one! UPDATE: Okay, so this is almost two years since I started taking it. I seem to be immune from sickness. I also eat no seed oils, lots of butter, etc… but was still getting sick once a year until I started taking this. We’ll see if that continues.

Alot of cod liver oil supplements out there has synthetic Vit E added. This is the only one I've found that is pure untainted cod liver oil. Doesn't taste fishy as well. Very easy to consume.
