Always seek this brand as early on in the switch to Led lighting they were there and so far the quality does not disappoint. Had one fail many years ago and the company immediately replaced it.

Not 800 Lumens
I purchased this product because it was 800 lumens. I have 680 lumen bulbs and I wanted something brighter, the box clearly states 680. Returned

Do Not Buy
The bulbs I received were not the correct color. In addition, the box was marked Phillips on the top and then whited out. They were CREE bulbs but were put in a box to look like they contained the right color.

Good Brightness and Color
Ever since learning about Seasonal Affective Disorder I have used daylight temperature bulbs in my office. These 5000K bulbs give my office a nice feel, especially during the shorter days of the year.I have not tried them on a dimmer. I expect good longevity from Cree, but have not had them very long.Installation is relatively easy. Turn off the lights. If replacing a working bulb, wait until it cools or wear a suitable glove. A non-working bulb should be cool already. Turn the existing bulb counter-clockwise (anti-clockwise in the UK and Canada, dans le sens antihoraire in Quebec) until it can be removed. Set it aside for proper disposal. Take the new Cree Lighting Exceptional Series BR30 Bulb, insert into the fixture, and turn clockwise until it is fully installed. Turn on the lights and admire your handiwork. It's that easy!I hope that you find this review helpful.

Bright light
Packaged very well. They weren't broken. They are brighter than the previous bulbs. Which makes me happy since I thought there was no sense in turning on the light cuz it was so dim. I'd buy them again.
